Best sweets we had the entire time in NOLA. Beautiful place and lovely service. RICHOCOLOUS {milk chocolate caramel mousse , chocolate cream, devil's food cake , crisp chocolate shell}
From a barista: try the white chocolate lavender and ADD espresso . The espresso cuts the richness (but still tastes amazing). It's a little pricey , but after a taste, you'll appreciate why. Enjoy!
It's like a jewelry store where beautifully crafted pastry replaces diamonds in the cases. Gelato is incredible, but the macarons are absolutely sinful. My pick is the banana foster or salted caramel .
Very pretty dessert place. We tried the macarons and they were very good especially the Cafe au Lait !
Escape into this sweet retreat filled with delicious macaroons , Italian gelato , and artistry treats. Order the drinking chocolate , served with handmade marshmallows & head upstairs for balcony views .

Gelato is super creamy. Definitely get their macaroons this is what they are known for. Salted caramel is the best.
For a sweet nightcap, hit one of the city 's several Sucre sweet shops for amazing gelato and some of the most inventive and delicious macarons in the country . Read more
Awesome selection of macarons ! They are always changing flavors. Also have free wifi . Check out the coconut basil sorbet !! Diary free but still creamy b/c of the coconut milk
Very delicious macarons ! Not too sweet, nice flavours, recommend
Desserts are super! The xocolat sucre was to die for. Also ask for the cafe glacé made praline gelato ... beats Starbucks anytime.
Macarons , cakes and specialty ice cream await you at Sucre, the best spot for unique desserts in the city . Read more
Got my very first King cake here. O...M...G! it is so good! Definitely will have to get it again when I get a chance to visit New Orleans again.
Amazing macarons ! Try the fleur de sel caramel , banana 's foster and strawberry . I don't think you can go wrong here.
Excellent gelato . Excellent macaroons . Excellent king cake . Treat yourself to something sweet while you're in the Garden District.
Ask for advice when you can't decide. The staff seems to have tasted everything so they can give you a heads up on anything you want to try. Everything they make is great but go to Divina for gelato .
The Macarons taste SO much like the ones from Laduree in Paris, and that makes me a very, very happy girl. Try some! The gift packaging is precious, too. Great service.
If you are lucky enough to be invited to a dinner party in New Orleans, this is the place to stop and bring a hostess gift . Incredible presentation, and it tastes good.
Be prepared to take your time and ask questions! So many wonderful choices here! Macaroons to did for, especially the hazelnut !!
Be nice or leave... The desserts are "Worth It"! Not only are they "Works of Art " but they are "Delicious". Enjoy the nature of the graceful flavors that Sucre has to offer.
Get a sundae to share- yumm. I was too full to even think about the macaroons and chocolate like the other tips here. Everything looks DIVINE though. Probably a good thing I don't live in NOLA!
Just spotted Nicholas Cage and his family having dessert and gelato at Sucre'. Awesome desserts , esp the Chocolate S'mores .
The macaroons . The gelato (especially coconut basil !). The pastries . All so good.
hef Tariq Hanna crafts king cakes with handmade Danish dough , sweet cream cheese filling, light sugar glaze and glitter on top. @Gambit
Recommend getting the macaroons . Some of the best I've ever had
This Garden District sweets shop offers classic French pastries (macarons ) and house-made sorbet (coconut basil ). Its newest offshoot: a gelato van in the French Quarter.
Get the raspberry stuffed giant macaroon ! Amazing.
Excellent macaroons and their salted caramel cupcake is first rate.
The macaroons are heavenly; light, airy, and full of flavor. Try the pistachio .
The ice cream was wonderful. I bought king cake and can't leave without macaroons .
Such a great spot to satisfy a sweet tooth. Their pistachio gelato is so good, as are their truffles and macaroons . Nice selection of cakes and pastries as well .
Excellent coconut basil sorbet . Don't let the term sorbet fool you. Lemon curd is refreshing.

Great Gelatos , but please don't get tasters of every flavour when there's a queue, it's just rude
I always get pistachio macaroons and samples of the gelato . Delish!
The coconut basil gelato & the white chocolate bread pudding ...the BEST dessert I've EVER had!
Coconut basil ice cream is very smooth & creamy...not too sweet either

I found this place really over-rated. Everything looked better than it tasted, all three times I have had anything from Sucre.
Pistachio gelato is SO good!

It's perfectly okay to have gelato before lunch .
King cake warmed and by the slice (when in season). Otherwise, the Tiffany is a favorite.
Clean atmosphere. Great food and coffee .
Gelato and macaroons . Otherwise kind of overrated. Go around Christmas time for a super cute store window set up.
Great to share
I've just notice. The desserts are pretty to look at but lack in taste. Very nice decor. I love this place but its starting to get a little overrated. Friendly staff ! A adult candy store basically

The tacos! Everything I've ever ate there was delicious. The crab melt & the Trinidad chicken roti are my faves. Great service & the food is worth the price! - Myla Martin
