Lemon cheesecake dessert is very lovely.
What a shame the food was not as good as previously. The cheese & onion pie was bland. The chile was sweet. The medium steak was very well done instead. Staff lovely though.
Great shortage of desserts today.
Fur coat and no knickers. Looks great but the food was awful. How anyone can make a sandwich that bad baffles me. And the staff called it a 'butty' which made me feel ill. Overpriced as well .
The real ale as well as the live acts is worth seeking out, as the pub has a wide range of different guest beers. Also, you will find the jukebox a Cheesy Tune Free Zone. What is there not to like? - Stuart Vallantine
