Greenwood Hotel

The greenwood hotel is a north Sydney institution. Great during summer when the sun is shining. Plenty of outdoor space . The food is great although slight more expensive then other pubs in the area.

Beautiful old premises with great food and drink selections. Legendary for its Thursdays nights and occasional Sunday rave.

Horrible music venue . They screwed up and made De La Soul come on late and then they cut them off at midnight after 1 song. Would never go there for a show again.

No pizzas tonight. I went the Pear & Proscuitto Salad - not too bad, slightly heavy handed on the balsamic though. Mates went Salt & Pepper Squid - squid rubbery, chips frozen. Proceed with caution.

Always a gamble if your meal will arrive or not.

Nice for summer afternoon, with a relaxed outdoor setting . Avoid on Thursday night if you are over 20.

Beer has been really flat last two weeks.

Don't bother with lunch there! Food is good and cheap but the wait times are ridiculous!!

BEWARE OF THIEVES. Don't leave your items unattended - they will be stolen.

Avoid the lasagna , it's cold and tasteless. Basically everything is sub-parr. The only thing worth it is the $14.95 pizzas . The "Samoa" pizza has new spicy peri-peri and is the only thing I order.

The place is really good... I ordered a chicken schinitzel but it wasn't that good...

It's miserable when it's raining.

The service is reliably bad. Pizzas are probably the best thing on the menu. Avoid the chicken burger .

We were once served our food with a dead cockroach clearly on top of our chips . No joke.

Service is terrible, food is basic yet takes over an hour to come out.
