Great location on Ochard Road with nicely laid out rooms. No frills hotel that suit business and leisure travellers. Has rooftop swimming pool with a great view .

The city reveals itself at every turn in this hotel but somehow you feel so removed from it all. Great breakfast spread , light and airy rooms, but the best part of this hotel has got to be the pool.

Shangrila's answer to a younger, more budget conscious clientele. Similar to Aloft by starwood. Great location -Literally atop the somerset mrt station, with direct access from gateway shopping mall .

Makan@jen has the best Breakfast . Staff are friendly and competent. This is the first hotel in Asia that I have been to who can poach an egg .

Hotel reception is at level 10, and rooms above that. If u use the lifts from lobby A, u can also access the public library , the mall , the carpark & even the foodcourt at level B2

Foodcourts everywhere. Nearest is on level B2. Fastest way there is via lifts at Lobby A (not the hotel reception lobby). There’re also foodcourts at 313@Somerset & Centrepoint

This is a great hotel in a great location especially the rooftop pool . Expensive yes. The one main negative issue is that some poor building maintenance detracts from high end feeling.

Perfect central location, super roof top bar and friendly staff . Rooms a bit basic and not well designed.

The location is convenience in the middle of Orchard and just minute to MRT Somerset. Medium panorama swimming pool is good but the room is just right, simple , clean but not so in design .

Go to the rooftop pool at dawn to enjoy the relaxing birdsong alongside the panoramic view of Singapore as the city wakes

Their pillows are the best! But the smell of their rooms, i'll never get used to it. Smells like sweat of a man. lol

The lobby is actually on the 10th floor, make sure to take advantage of the trolleys to ferry your luggage.

I don't have a very acute sense of smelling but those pillows ARE smelly! I asked the hotel staff to change the linens and pillows . She did after rolling her eyes but the new ones are smelly as much.

Makan@Jen Buffet is a gem!
