Foundation's Edge was founded in 1987 as an off-shoot of the Second Foundation Bookstore in Chapel Hill. Over the last 10 years, we have tried to offer a broad mix of comics, games, science fiction and fantasy books, and related items.

Always fun conversations to be had here. I'm a comics newbie and the folks are really knowledgeable and have lots of recommendations for good comics and where to start.
Although their roleplaying section is no longer competition for dedicated gaming stores , they stock a lot of classic stuff you may have a hard time finding elsewhere.
