A great view of the bayou along TC Jester. Also, stop by iCycle just off of the trail on 18th. Expansion of the trail is happening as well . Love the dips under the roadways.
Start from West 11th Street Park and bike White Oak Bayou Trail northwest to Victory rd and back. ~15.5 miles round trip.

Enjoy the trail . Catch some good miles on this route. Don't mind the sewage smell from time to time. It's a part of the ambiance.

The bayou smells like a baby dinosaur diaper or a rotten egg pretty often. Avoid a few days after the rain and during a drought.

Lots of wildlife and interesting plants can be spotted along the trail. Keep an eye out for the blooms of the Dutchman's Pipe on the south side between Arlington and Columbia. - Gretchen Lindquist
