Enoteca had a great atmosphere and amazing service. For someone who also works in the restaurant industry (Ufficio Toronto), I was very impressed. Loved Gutturnio(as pictured below)and food was great!
Honestly, this place is amazing. If you can get a group together, reserve the wine + meat cellar, it's beautiful and adds to the delicious food you'll get all night. Excellent. Just excellent.
Forgot how much I liked this place. Simple delicious food. The patio is very popular but you can get a seat if you're lucky.
The pork ragu was nice. Beware - too much peroni makes it extra salt. Staff are friendly & attentive and the atmosphere inside is very cosy
The arancini and tuna conserva are absolutely on the money. Pair them with a spritz and watch the world go by on the patio .
The cheese board is always amazing. The spaghetti cacio and pepe is perfection. The place is not overpriced and serves amazing food.
Cauliflower is surprising. Heavenly, musky. Tuna crudo blessed w angel hairs of celery , melt-in-mouth deliteful. Burly waiters , not as macho as you'd think. Charming, metro fare. Not just the waiters !
You obviously enjoy excellent food. Chef Michael Stadtländer will be serving up his sumptuous, local and organic menu at the @EarthDayCanada Gala on June 6th at The Drake http://bit.ly/KSVhVK
Fast becoming a favourite. Service is just wonderful, food has never disappointed, so fresh and delicious! A wine list that won't disappoint.
Great Italian restaurant . Quality red wines served at an appropriate temperature! The rigatoni was amazing.
Probably my favourite restaurant in the city . Order anything, you can't go wrong. Great wine list and a cheese cave . CHEESE CAVE ! Read more
Great cheese selection , lovely dessert wines , and don't forget the toffee pudding ...
Slick Italian comfort food . No airs or pretence. Great for breaking bread with your closest friends.
Enjoyable experience. Beef tartare very flavourful. Regrettably, portions a tad small but worth a go nonetheless.
Neighborhood Italian vibes. Lovely and chill . Food decent but didn’t light me up
Was hoping to try the tasting menu but they were out, so try to go early. It's simple rustic Italian fare . I wasn't blown away but will head back for the great wine selection and family menu.
The tasting menu with wine pairings was a really good deal .
Lorenzo Loseto, chef of George Restaurant , eats here on his nights off. He loves the Arancini , mozzarella di bufala & 'nduja. Read more
The service might be a touch pretentious , but the rustic fare is delicious. Try the tuna crudo in Meyer-lemon drizzle! (But don't ask for tea . Yikes.)
Smoked spaghetti and clams were fantastic. Great wine program.
With a patio covered by a tree canopy, classic home-style Italian cooking and a wine list that goes on forever, this sweet spot is sure to win over hearts, minds – and stomachs.
Try the Grilled Ramps With Romescu & Sheeps Milk Cheese - So delicious, romescu sauce is my new found love
Private room in basement perfect for events .
Go for the sharing appetisers and sticky toffee pudding rather than the so-so pasta dishes.
Delicious, steak , salad and fish all excellent choices.
Great wine by the glass/taster selection, sat at the bar and tried 8 different wines .
OMFG get the butternut squash ravioli . Seriously. Heaven on earth on a plate b
Gnocci was amazing! Very roasty tasting
Excellent food and service. Ask your waiter for recommendations, they know what's up.
Good: Tuna albacore , rhubarb dessert .
If you want the ???? you will need to wait 40 min!
The porchetta is cooked overnight in the oven after the kitchen closes. Definitely worth it.
Try the Fresh Pasta Tortellini With Mushroom - This was my fav
Always ask for a pairing wine if your a rookie, the waiters are very knowledgeable
Local done Italian by amazing chefs Agostino and deMille. Enomatic wines ftw.
Try the Sticky Toffee Pudding ! Truly delicious!
Get some mozzarella balls with sangria and sit on the patio . Bliss!
Definitely recommend going all in for the tasting menu here. They don't disappoint.
service is always great, food is sometimes inconsistent ... still, one of my fave spots in the neighborhood .
Service is superb try the Octopus with Tripe Ragu sauce -simply sublime
Rabbit pappardelle is a must!! So is the saraghina 2009 (white) wine
Get the octopus antipasti . And try the cheeses ! Seriously!
Artichoke fries = the best app in town ... Rocco Agostino is my (chef ) hero!
Meyer lemon pie with burnt roasted marshmallows ... Do it.
the bucatini all'amatriciana is a must have!
They took off the tasting menu :( but now they do great wine pairings .
Wine and cheese lovers: this is your restaurant .
Don't get the dirty martini . They use under aged olives , which does make the drink appear more fancy , but lacks the kick of the original.
the vegetable side dishes
Chocolate pudding w olive oil and salt = heaven.
say yes to the Burrata substitute in any of the fresh mozzarella pastas! You will not regret it! - B Truong
Ascari is known for great pasta and Killer wine Mondays but they are also very local with great appetizers and bomb desserts. - Joanna Sable
Cool little cocktails place. If you like bourbon, the Paper Plane is a good one. Ask for it in a rocks glass or it will show up in doofy stemware. - Chris Boutet
The smoked rabbit sausage, roasted carrots and ricotta cavatelli are all very good. - Cemre Pehlivanoğlu
