Pearl's Place

On my most recent visit I had an hankering for dressing & greens. Sad to say that Pearl 's did one of the most southern cooking taboos know to man! They served canned greens & stove top stuffing. SMH.

Why settle for a "Taste" when you could have it ALL? We're serving Chicago's favorite lunch buffet and breakfast all day, in our cool, comfy dining room - topped off with friendly service .

Great server, felt like we were with family. New Orleans breakfast was delicious. Excellent fried chicken and sides. Order eggs with cheese - without cheese they're bland. Delicious peach cobbler .

The mac&cheese was excellent, the candid yams was the bomb, the smothered pork chop was outstanding..

The buffet is the bomb. And liz is crazy in a good way.

Great food. Courteous staff . Decor needs work, but the food makes you forget the atmosphere.

Excellent fried chicken dinner . One of the best soul food restaurants in Chicago.

Highly disappointed!!! Paid over $20 for two pieces of Catfish to go. In styrofoam!!! Presentation is everything. You only get one time to ‘Get Me’. FRFR Dinner was for my Auntie. She still hungry

The short ribs are awesome!! Everything is!

This buffet is on smash...you will be tempted to go for seconds or even thirds--I promise you!

The down south breakfast is my favorite. You should check it out.
