Real Basílica de San Francisco el Grande

Beautiful paintings . Definitely worth visiting. Arrive early in the day - later on they may ask for admission fee (to prevent from crowding up the church from tourism ). Skip the tour .

Regardless of what Foursquare says, the church is closed on Mondays. We tried to visit on 3 March 2014 and we were informed by the guard they are closed on Mondays.

Doesn't look like much on the outside, but you will be surprised when you get inside! Most beautiful church I have seen in Madrid (so far).

Totally worth it! Don't miss it. You get a surprise when you enter. 3€ entrance with a very nice tour guide (though in Spanish).

The commercialization of religion ! What a shame

Linda demais por dentro, com várias pinturas originais (incluindo de Goya) e vitrais bem bonitos. A cúpula é linda, além de ser a 3ª maior do Cristianismo. Vale a pena visitar.

Un monumento para admirar la Basílica de San Francisco de Asís.

3-я или 4-ая по величине в Европе. 33 м в диаметре , 58 м в высоту. Первый слева зал/капелла художества Гойи . Кроче быть всем. Только время работы уточняйте.
