Old Town Waterfront

It's beautiful here. Depending on whether you go in the morning or evening, it could be a completely empty peaceful place for a stroll, or a lively place for an entertaining day trip.

A beautiful location to stroll or sit and eat icecream . My parents actually took their engagement photos here back in the 90's!

Head down to Alexandria’s waterfront , where you can watch boats pass through the harbor and hear live music from local musicians . You can also see views of the National Harbor and Washington skyline.

Lots of activities! Standing on the Marina is very relaxing in the summer. Torpedo Factory a good stop for art aficionados. A block away from King Street, and lots of places to relax

Bring your kids late mornings, early afternoons on Saturdays. Guy plays water glasses, parrot show, hot dog stand, bands for kids.

I love the 19 yr old homeless kid, he yells at u when u don't give him money. Isn't it a little early 4 him to give up on life?

Lovely location, but the table service is confoundingly slow.

Don't go early. Most businesses don't open until 10 or 11am.

Stroll down to Founder's Park for a less touristy , stroll along the river .

Don't feed the ducks your crappy ass white bread . It's not good for them either.
