New place (6/2011) carafes of wine are enormous. Food is excellent and fresh definitely no heat lamps here. Didn't notice anything over $20 for entrees. Dominic was just plain cool and informative .
A small and cozy restaurant with prices way lower then expected given the quality of the food. We love how the chef has mastered making almost anything on their menu gluten free !
The waitress runs the show. Incredible service. Feels like a small osteria in northern Italy. She even brought up complimentary limencello as a disgetivo — very rare Italian experience in New York.
Not as cheap as some of the other reviews make it out to be but still reasonable and super delicious! Try the Brussel Sprouts and Chicken Ripieno
No-chichi neighborhood restaurant . Not the most sophisticated flavors but very affordable comfort food in a cute vibe is a nice option from the more hip and packed restaurants in the area.
Such a gem of a place. Authentic , unpretentious, delicious homemade pasta and sauce with a romantic cozy decor . Excellent, warm service !
Best kept secret in Brooklyn. Start with the caprese, follow it with the kale salad , and order a special. Then thank me after!
Caprese, Piadinas , Pastas (Ragu and Ravioli ) and Wine and call it a great dinner ! Owner offered Limoncello .
A hidden gem . Get the strozzapreti with ragu ! The homemade pasta is chewy deliciousness. And don't forget to check the Specials board!
OMG. Arancini siciliani LOVE. Everything is good here. Dominic is wonderful!
Good wine ! Haven't eaten there yet but I'll be back. It's at the comer of my street. Real small place and the owners are great.
Strozzapreti with rice flour (gluten free ) combined with the Brussel sprouts salad is where it's at. Proper Italian food .
Prosciutto piadina to start and the tagliatelle with wild boar ragu . Any special on the board.
Besides the entrees, nothing on the menu, including the pastas , are over $11.00. Everything here is terrific.
The pumpkin gnocchi is amazing. The service is pretty slow so don't go if you're short on time. If you can, try to make a reservation
Good neighborhood spot . The owners are very nice and the food is delicious. Get the tagliatelle with lamb ragu .
the cavatelli is amazing and the wine is incredibly reasonably priced
Brunch is very very good at a really great price. The eggs Benedict are amazing!
The lasagna is incredible. One of my favorite spots in Brooklyn.
Nicest staff , BYOB until they get their liquor license next week.... Their gluten free penne is made from rice , and cooked perfectly!!
This place is amazing. Brussel sprout salad is amazing, bolognese is better then most in NYC
Cozy little place. The gnocchi and scallops are both amazing.
Great secret brunch places and even better dinner place .
Great Food! Great Ambiance! Very inexpensive but the quality of the food says otherwise!
Tortelli with truffle oil and the duck cook medium are recommended.
Pumpkin truffle gnocchi is the way to go
Excellent pasta ! Reasonably priced, bring cash
Note: They're cash-only! Their ragu is to die for, though!
cash only and no ATM ! great very reasonably priced place!
Brussels sprout salad is UNREAL. Gotta try it.
Hidden gem , the best pasta .
That veggie lasagna was awesome !!!
This place is nothing more than mediocre. I'm surprised on the 8.8 rating - I wouldn't give them more than 7. Although it's cheap , the food is very basic and not great quality.
Affordable Italian fare
Decent, okay for dates, house wines are shit though and dishes weren't spectacular
One word: Comic Sans.
Brussel sprouts
Brussels sprout salad and pappardelle salsiccia...
Outside patio was nice and enjoyable. Very disappointed in the food quality. Was excited to try, but won't be back.
Pas fou l ’italien ...
My favourite Italian in Williamsburg by far, along with Testo (associated with the same family). Super quaint, cash only. Real quality Italian food. - Sarah Brink
Great handmade pastas, the prosciutto benedict is the best thing on the brunch menu. - Steven Lambiase
Forget waiting for a table for brunch at Egg or Lodge, it's fantastic here and the garden seating is beautiful - Kathryn McGinnis
Deliciously divey. Just what the block needs to balance Sweet Science. Deluxe beer & shot specials, good standard cocktail menu. Dog friendly with a semi-open space during the summer! - Dan Barton
Super friendly staff, dog friendly, and home of the pickleback. - Cris
