The biggest supermarket in the aria, everything is available! Even sushi ❤️
I went to this Safeway after work on a Wednesday (26th of the month) around 6:00 PM and there were only 3 registers open.
Their deli sandwiches are so good that when I bit into mine the only thing I could do was hold my sandwich up in the air and yell DAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Raggedy, unclean and perpetually stocked with rotting or expired food. Shop at the new Giant on H Street
be prepared to wait A WHILE to checkout, always understaffed.
Not as bad as other reviews suggest. Not the best, but certainly not as bad as others make it seem. Great beer and wine selection .
Solid store selections but the check out service is one of the slowest ever.
Ummmm... Don't come here during after work hours. Long lines no self check out
I mean it's clearly no Social Safeway. Tonight there were four registers open!
One of the worst Safeways in DC. Always understaffed at registers . Produce is mediocre at best. If you have to go, best times are Saturday after 7pm or early in the morning.
This place is Hell on Earth. Would rather starve then go to this sorry excuse for a grocery store . Only 2 registers open with tons of employees idling around. It would be quicker to grow your own food
I swear my checker is as high as a kite.
No matter what time I come here, there are never enough lines open
Even though they are theoretically still open, their doors are closed and you have to go in the out door after 10 p.m. Real stupid, going elsewhere
Always check your receipt especially if using digital coupons. Things frequently ring up incorrectly. Slow lines .
Avoid! I have been here 3 times and every experience has been awful. Better off getting a taxi to southeast to get food, will be quicker.no self service, or few item check outs
Every day savings
I'm pretty sure Bruce Wayne's parents were shot here. This place is not safe.
Be prepared to spend at least 30 mins in line - on a good day
Seriously, the worst grocery store I've ever been to as far as time spent in line goes. Go to Harris teeter on Potomac ave. to save time.
This is the most horribly staffed store I have ever seen. There are always long lines and selection is always scarce. Take your $ elsewhere!
I will never return to the Safeway now that giant is open on H Street
Shop during skins games. The place is empty!
This Safeway sucks. The never open more than 3 lines for cash register . Be prepare to stand in line slower than DC Election Day.
Go before the 1st
They need to step up their game. I heard giant is coming.
Pretty bad.
I was n & out guess I went @ da rite time
Guuuuuhhhhetttto
Grocery line Hell awaits you here.
MGD beer is here!
If you want a clean grocery store this ain't it keep it moving,
Sanitation is left wanting. Never seen such lack of cleanliness around food.
Pleasent people this time around
Grocery store hell. Despite having 10 lines , only three are ever open, takes forever.
No public bathroom . Sheesh!!!!
Horrible customer service. They will not help you if you can't find something.
Produce looks wilted...
No self-checkout. Safeway continues to be the worst business in America.
Not as bad as other tips might imply, but not that great either.
Hope u have a ride because the riders are rude and incompetent
Ghetto Safeway, go to Harris Teeter instead.
Carts are notoriously awful but it looks like they got a bunch of new ones finally.
Avoid. Place is filled with awful souls.
Worst grocery store in DC
Lines are ridiculously long in the mornings. They should have 2 baristas working. - Q Chainz
I like the variety. Thee produce always looks bright and fresh, and they have some real bargains. - Marilyn Greene
Love the easy parking garage via 3rd street. It's also not very crowded yet due to construction so it's perfect for my social anxiety disorder. Will make this my regular store until things change. - Allyson Wilson
This McDonald’s has free AT&T Wi-Fi. It’s easy to log on and stay connected while you dine. - AT&T
