Alamo Drafthouse Cinema

This is by far my favorite Alamo in Austin . I love the seating set up, the staff is friendly , and the food is always fresh and tasty. I love all the yummy gluten free options at Alamo ! Try the pizza !

Alamo is a fantastic company but this location is the hands down BEST drafthouse. Great lobby, and the tables that two chairs share instead of the long bench-style ones at other locations.

New all reserved is nice, but know which tables match which seats. All rows start at 1. So the odd number and the even abve it share a table. Watch out for the handicapped rows!!!

What a venue for a movie ! The visuals have Sony 4k projectors & great accompanying sound (not sure if Atmos). The draft beers were "hoppy" & the food tasty. Great place for the family or a date!

Loved the FREE Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Boy Scout popcorn sample, training for the upcoming popcorn sale plus dinner ! Super comfortable seats & awesome food! Try chocolate pb shake = worth buying!

Help your friend out of their seat. They are awkward AF. Your center of balance is obstructed by the mounted table. They are nice and comfortable , but once the movie is over, help your friend.

Great movie theater and great service!!Sat at the 400 bar next door while we waited for our movie . They have a variety of games you can play while you wait.... :)

This applies to all of them, these places are for people who love movies . They put on special events all the time with special features going on. The food is good too considering it is a movie theater

Best place to see a movie ! special events & food/drink specials for certain movies . Only complaint is they don't have any BBQ sauce ! Otherwise perfect movie going experiences!

Best Alamo Drafthouse in Austin. I would definitely reserve the tickets online because chances are you won't get tickets an hour before the movie if you show up. Love the chips and queso !

Out-of-towner here. SO glad my Austin friends took me here; loved the experience. CANNOT WAIT for them to expand out to a theater in my chunk of the world.

Full bar plus great food. Big fan of the salads as well as the green chile pork stew .

Get there early for parking . Great service and large theaters. You can't beat endless popcorn .

Seeing a private showing of "Star Wars" the day before it officially opened was awesome. The food and beverages are excellent.

Loved the pre movie entertainment. A refreshing break from ads. Also appreciated the hard stance on no talking/texting.

Arrive early and watch a strange compilation of videos and previews that are ostensibly related to your feature film . Also eat fried pickles , they're ballin'.

Pizza if you're starving, fried pickles if you're in a snack mood and always go with one of the limited beers !

First timers: get there early, hang out in the bar , and get in your theater with plenty of time to check out the menu.

Even the front row seats offer a good view . Don't be dissuaded by your normal movie theater experiences ????

Great movie experiences here. At least order one of their spiked milkshakes if you're turned off by the other food options, which are typically $$

This Drafthouse has tables for two, instead of one long bar table per row, so keep that in mind when reserving seats or else you'll be sitting at a table with someone else's significant other.

Popcorn with Parmesan is a great go to if you don't want anything heavy but still want a snack ????

The green chili mac is heavenly. Pair with fried pickles . Check it out and try one of their seasonal specials which always rock.

Refrain from eating the chips and queso . It's guaranteed that the sounds of you chewing and digging around for that perfect tortilla bit WILL carry.

Can somebody let the blue hairs know that there's a light under every table and that they can leave their flashlights at home?

We actually didn't mind/notice the servers walking around like many others have mentioned. It was cool to go to such a nice, new theater!

Love this place. Be sure to get here at least 30 mins before to enjoy the pre-show clips :)

The menus are under the table, where there is also an unobtrusive little red light so you can see what you're writing during the movie .

Try a drink next door at 400 Rabbits before your movie , great mix of cocktails and tequilas !

You'll never want go to a regular theatre ever again. Get the green chile cheese fries !! And a Paloma.

The building is an elaborate optical illusion. It can actually hold 1,000 more people than there are parking spots outside.

3rd movie experience at Alamo Slaughter location - we LOVE the new digs but the service (again) is HORRIBLE. Hopefully these are just growing pains!

way better than the drafthouse on s. lamar. there is actually enough parking , they show more movies and its not sold out every stinkin night.

Order a Live Oak Hefeweizen while you watch a movie !

Best Alamo in Texas, so far. Every new location seems to improve on their standard.

You gotta get your tickets early if you're going in a group. Great theatre though.

The spaghetti squash marinara is new and delicious!

The Bacon , brussels sprout , & goat cheese pizza is my new favorite!!

The tables are better than the other locations. I don't have to sit on the edge of my seat to eat.
