One of my favorite spots in Hyde Park . In the winter, enjoy yummy hot chocolate and write your name in one of the booths . In the summer, you have to eat brunch on the rooftop patio . Everything's good.

The "garbage" pizza is great! Went back after 20 plus years and it was still the same atmosphere, tastes, just everything! If you order fries , just one order will do for up to 3 persons! Just great!

Solid menu and the new addition of alcohol is welcome. I do miss the Portobello burger and the Ahi Tuna one too but I get it... Chocolate Shakes are amazing!

Get the apple pastry a la mode. For something savory, can't go wrong with the turkey and Swiss or ham and cheese croissant

I always recommend the Med(s) to those visiting Hyde Park . Café au lait , pastries , fruit pies and tarts , etc. Their OJ was always warm and sunny during my AM... in religion.

The bakery is excellent. There’s a couple of restaurant items I would NOT recommend...fettuccine Alfredo , potato salad and hamburger are all bland. Other meals are pretty good & pastries are great!

Steak sandwich and Mediterranean Pizza are not to be missed. Great coffee too. Booths are tight and scrawled with generations of initials and messages. Friendly but slow service.

Great food and service. Get here early if you plan on having brunch as it gets VERY busy.

No suggestions are needed because everything is delicious. Their crossiants and cinnamon rolls are so good that I get one after I leave the gym .

I had the pasta . But you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

This is a great detour when you're in the area for the university or the museums .

The coffee here is really good, but the French toast was a little bland for my taste. If you come for breakfast definitely get something from the bakery . You won't be disappointed.
