The 2nd thing u should do in Köln is to taste Kölsch-local top-fermented beer-that comes in small “stange” glasses(200ml):very refreshing,tastes a little bit sweet&bitter,hoppy,citrus&herbs.ABV:4.8%

Awesome experience, very traditional restaurant . They brew their own Kolsch beer which I recommend drinking not less than 5 glasses. I also recommend a Brauhausplatte if you're with a group of 4.

Very good place for drinking beer . I been here every year when I came Koeln. Huge, old place. So it makes you do exerciser when you want looking friends. Good for group . Super nice food d-_-b

A good place to eat after exploring the dom and surrounding museums . Their local bear (köls ch) is amazing. Polite staff and quick service with almost good prices. The environment is nice and clean .

Great traditional German food . If meat eater, def get the hammchen (eisbein or pork knuckle ). Sooo tender and with amazing sauerkraut .

They've got authentic cuisine special to Cologne. Try the schnapps and the beers are good.

Great local dishes. The place is beautiful and the waiters walk around with the typical 0.2 glasses of their own Kölsch .

It's huge! Enter and find yourself a table. Nice pork knuckes. No credit cards (like almost everywhere). Nice atmosphere.

Traditional place : good beer (of course!), good food (try Haxenpfanne ) and traditional rough waiters . Really a recommendable place! Order a barrel of Kölsch if you are there with enough people.

You can drink liters and liters of kolnsh bier ... Just don't go there to eat if you're vegetarian ... You'll find nothing. Amazing atmosphere though!

Huge brauhaus near the Kölner Dom. Many people drinking Kölsch , eating Bratwurst and sitting at tables.

Peppered Steak is excellent! Right next to the Dom Cathedral and tons of shopping! When I say shopping, I mean to die for, shopping! Store fronts as far as the eye can see!

Very busy place in heart of Cologne but it's worth a visit. Try Sweinehaxe it's delicious.

Rheinischer sauerbraten was excellent. And the atmosphere was great too. I will be back.

Very traditional beer hall. Hearty half chicken , chips and salad for around €13 which ain't bad being so close to the Dom/tourist trap
