Library Alehouse

Classic bar that has served craft beer since 1995. Feels very cozy , local, friendly service . The beer list isn’t the best in town anymore, but it’s worth a visit. Serves pretty good food too.

Grab a seat at the patio out the back, order some wings and brussels sprouts and order one of their many beers on tap . Glad to have found this great little spot on Main Street.

Sit out on the outdoor patio . We had asparagus frites with spicy aioli , a juicy medium rare burger with an egg on top, & Tempranillo...Yum! P.S. - Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great!

I've never had a curry dish without meat until my visit here. The combo of veggies and green apples are awesome. I highly recommend this curry .

My favorite bar in LA. Friendly bartenders , great beer and food; plus they have Russian River brews a bunch. A must-watch in Santa Monica.

The beer menu is larger than the food menu w/~30 beers on draft ! The food is consistently amazing & reservations are not accepted. Use the patio in back for lunch or dinner , or grab a beer at the bar .

I adore this place - great burgers , beer selection and vibe. The veggie burger is tasty..the patty itself is pretty bland, but the dressings , avocado and bread make up for it

Fried pickles (frickles ) are delicious and surprisingly not what we expected - bite sized and just spicy enough.

One of the only places in SM that occasionally has Pliney the Elder on tap . Worth a visit for that alone. Food is surprisingly good for a bar .

Good (not exceptional tho) beer selection but if I ask for a medium rare burger and you serve it very well done, well , sorry but we have a problem. The waitress was very nice.

There's a patio out back if the bar area is too packed. Get the frickles and the hell burger , and pick a beer from the chalkboard .

Vegetarians can find a fair amount of selections on the menu, and the back patio is great during warm weather (it’s also often quieter than the main room).
