Great fish market . Come at the right time, beat the rush, & get your pick (still wriggling!) During busy hours they get sloppy; it's better to skip the pick-your-# line & clean the fish yourself.

Last, they have the longest fresh fish counter I've ever seen: longer than the Ramlas in Barcelona, longer than the Fulton St. market (stalls, not one counter), longer than the wharf in SF!

A magical place. The produce, meat, fish , and bakery selections are incredible, and for the most part, quite well priced. Can be a madhouse though, be prepared.

This is one of the BEST places to buy spices, grains, fresh fruits , veggies & fish ! We luv the salmon & sea bass . Best time to shop is weekday mornings, small crowds & fresh food !

Everything is fresh and my favorite selections are the seasonings. There seems to be nearly 100, if not more, different spices. This is our favorite market without question!

One of my fav ATL spots. YES, it is better than Buford HFM. The quality and prices are unmatched. Why go to Kroger/Publix?? Produce, meats, dairy, bakery ..I just wonder thy the cops have machine guns?

Go for organic . A lot of times the regular versus organic isn't marked for the checker, so you often get charged the price for regular. Plus their meats and seafood is really fresh!

Do not go on the weekends, especially on a Saturday- beyond crowded & noisy . Wonderful selection of foods from all over the world, and produce that inspires me to cook fresh, healthy food .

Pro Tip: To maximize your ability to get around on crowded days (esp. in the produce), park your cart and walk around and collect things, then walk back and out put them in your cart. Saves bother!

This place is simply amazing. Produce was fresh and reasonably priced. There's an excellent selection of everything. Oh and their cheeses are worth buying.

Tons of fresh produce at GREAT prices. Endless shelves of packaged goods from all corners of the world. Great array of spices. Absolutely loved this place. But DO bring a jacket . It's COLD.

One of several global markets in Atlanta--this one on east side. Where the restaurant owners shop. You will see (& smell) interesting things from everywhere. Great value on spices.

The best time to go is during the week. It less crowded . Love the seafood here. Its always fresh.

I shop at the Buford HWY farmer 's market . They take credit cards and allow photography ! No cult-like presences, and it's 1/2 hour closer to my house by car, 1 hour closer by MARTA.

I love this place. This is a true international farmers market without being too authentic . The one on Buford is scary authentic but great as well .

There simply isn't one tip for the DeKalb. However grilled lamb is fab so pick some up of their lamb stew meat then slide down the counter and pick up some of thier very own brats . Yummy!

This place is a cluster ...k on weekends, its like trying yo navigate the streets of a third world country at rush hour...wear your patience hat and you will be fine.p otherwise shop midweek after 7PM
