Japanese street food style small plates . Grilled skewers were great, but we also enjoyed some of the larger dishes. Great atmosphere too!

Cynthia Lin

They’re known for their skewers but that cream udon is so unique—has a nice kick!

Tyler Simmons

Curry udon , clams , and shrimp katsu were all fantastic! Order a bunch of skewers and plates, eat them, and then order a whole bunch more!

Al S

I tried most of the chicken skewers , as well as duck and vegetable , and while the wing was the most flavorful, all were delicious. Sushi was high quality. All perfectly paired with cold Japanese lager

Elizabeth Burstein

Yakitori was phenomenal (chicken , ribs , and eggplant ) crunch tuna roll , signature roll on menu. Brady got the combo and he had a peanut-y ramen . Very very good.

Tim Lee

If it’s your first time, definitely go with the lunch set - ramen and the best of the yakitori . Chicken , short rib , meatballs .

Marc Schneeberger

Affordable and great japanese Izakaya and Yakitori food. Drink variety is not very extensive but you are there for the food!!! Pretty decent ramen’s too!

Sydney M

Yakitori and innovative Japanese Izakaya food galore! Had this clear pudding dessert - so hard to explain but it was so yummy with kinako and a light syrup

Christianna Hay

Everything was fine but flavorless with an over-reliance on butter. Had yakitori (get better in East Village ) and other dishes (duck nanban, eggplant , dragon Ball). All just fine and super missable.

Kate

Delicious. Great yakitori and Donnie I selection. It gets packed around weekend brunch , recommend getting a res!

Marie La Rue

Good team lunch spot . Try the skewers and the lunch tasting menu . The tuna tartare roll is also bomb.

Shashank K

Everything is great. One of the best Japanese restaurants I have been too.

Stopped in for lunch . The shoyu chintan ramen was delicious!

Cool space. Try the dragon ball and the curry udon .

Shoyu Ramen , maguro, and lime cilantro yakitori were the best we’ve had since we left Japan. Oishii desu

I’d go back for the ramen , the Yuri sorbet , and the tofu !

Cream udon is pretty tasty and different from dishes you'd find at other restaurants . It's flavorful but not that spicy .

The yakitori is overrated. Fried chicken was pretty good tho

Enrique D C

Excellent Japanese food !!

Cole Kennedy

Ramen was very mediocre. Yakitori better, but tiny portions. Still a cool spot but feels like they’ve lost their touch a bit.
