Small market located by the river . Great local atmosphere as shops entertain visitors with food tasting. Also home to cooking school and a small flamenco theater . Worth the visit !

I love visiting markets in the places I travel! This is a beautiful one and a must visit! Don't skip the oyster bar ! They were delicious !

Very nice market on the banks of the Guadalquivir. All fresh produce and food and drink stands.

It´s a place very typical of Sevilla. I had never seen a market with so much history, so this place is one of the better in this city for me.

Because of the Universal Exposition of Seville (1992) and in order to modernize the market , it was demolished, coming out the remains of an Almohad cemetery .

You can take a cooking class here and buy ingredients in the market . Worth it.

In the basement of the market are the remains of the Castle of St. George, the seat of the old inquisitorial tribunal.

Good market , the Spanish Inquisition Museum is in the same building.

Small local market selling fresh fruit , veg , meat and fish . A bit smelly.

En 1823 sobre el solar que ocupó el Castillo de San Jorge se instaló el primer mercado conocido popularmente como Plaza de Abastos ,este fue demolido en 1992 para construir el actual inaugurado en 2001

Véritable institution datant de 1823, un pan de l'histoire de Triana. Ancienne structure formidable à voir . Des produits frais . Café et restaurant dans tous les coins. Un marco para la reflexión.

Ya no es solo una plaza de abastos , sino un lugar para tomar cervezas y tapas . Tiene un miniteatro, en algunos bares hay musica en directo y varios tipos de cocina (sushi , italiano, española). GENIAL.

소박한 재래시장. 과일이 정말 싸다. 빵집 , 이베리코 흑돼지 하몽, 생선가게 등이 모여 있다. 테이블을 잡고 음식을 사서 아침을 먹는 사람들도 많이 보인다. 아침에 호텔에서 나와서 산책을 하다가 여기에서 아침 식사를 하는 것도 재밌다.

Uno de los sitios donde más a gusto me encuentro. Genial para tapear además. Muy buena la frutería de cristóbal y la de mora y la alegría de la huerta .

Todos los puestos venden productos de primera calidad y con una variedad increíble. Fácil acceso en coche y transporte público . Genial todo.

Una buena cerveza artesanal Taïfa (rubia o tostada) y un plato de gambas de Huelva del cocedero de mariscos del puesto de su derecha. Eso es Sevilla.

Con motivo de la Exposición Universal de Sevilla (1992) y con el objetivo de modernizar el mercado , se demolió, saliendo a la luz los restos del castillo y de un cementerio almohade.

Mercato coloratissimo e ricco di profumi . Il nome di ogni bottega è segnato con le tipiche piastrelle ceramiche andaluse. In esposizione ci sono prodotti tipici tra cui una vasta scelta di frutta .

En los bajos del mercado se encuentran los restos del Castillo de San Jorge , sede del antiguo tribunal inquisitorial.

Buen mercado , de los tres que hay en las inmediaciones estés es quizás el más completo. Esta pasando de ser un mercado de barrio a más bien un lugar de ocio. No me gustan los bares de copas de ahí.

Menos barato que otros mercados de Sevilla. El lugar es muy bonito. El pescado de buena calidad.
