Great coffee shop with homemade pastries and breakfast entrees like quiche , waffles , sandwiches . They had closed, but the original owners have reopened shop much to the delight of the neighborhood .
Nice cafe with a laid-back, neighborhood vibe . I recommend the vegan travel bar even if you are not vegan . Wifi password is portlandia.
For lunch , don’t miss Costello’s Travel Caffé on Northeast Broadway, a go-to neighborhood hangout. It has the best chocolate pie in town .
Not only a great coffee house , but a fantastic place to eat! The Hungarian mushroom soup is delicious and perfect for chilly and damp Portland winters.

Try the gluten free Blueberry muffin , they are the best in Portland.
