One of several ramen shops in North York. A bit over-priced IMO. What distinguish it from others in the neighbourhood is its offering in how "fatty" a soup base you want.
The place is small, hip and trendy , often noisy . The prices are higher than in other ramen places . You can watch your ramen being cooked. Ramen is good, the special Yon Shoku Ramen has rich flavour.
Pork ramen+miso+regular+pork belly+thick noodle+seasoned eg Get=authentic Japanese ramen ! But the taste is a little bit weird to me....maybe that's why it is authentic???? The kinton ball is must-try!!!
Age gyōza (fried dumplings ) were pretty good. Served with a sweet creamy sauce with a hint of chili . We got 4 though - usually ramen places give 5
Original (salt) broth was very tasty. Miso broth was OK - slight nutty flavour. Seasoned egg was OK - very slightly overcooked. Each bowl came with Chashu (OK) and pork belly (very good)
Lemonade is super strong, 50 cents extra for a takeout container, delicious sides. I prefer other joints for ramen .
Great place, great food. You get rewards for finishing your food!
Upsides: Great ramen , friendly staff . Downsides: uncomfy chairs, overpriced.
Good veggie ramen , try the jalapeno paste or the sesame chilli oil for an extra kick!
They have the most hyped Ramen but it really tastes great! Deserves every good review out there.
Get the takoyaki balls and eat them when they are warm. I like the ramen noodles here. Broth soup is a little salty for me. Pretty good overall.
Ramen and beer is always a good combination. Food was fresh, I would come back.
The best Ramen I have ever had with Reasonable price????????
I enjoyed my ramen because I got a spicy broth that masked the fact that the food was bland. The other chicken broth I tried was completely flavorless.
Love the ramen here. Super tasty
Lively and great atmosphere. Food is amazing
Best Ramen place in town ????
Freaking delicious. Chilli garlic yeah
Worst ramen experience, soup is bland & noodles are cheap yellow ramen . I don understand why this place is on so many top 10 list online, the people who wrote those lists probably never went to Japan.
9.99 for a Sapporo pitcher (60oz) Sunday to Thursday
Kinton Ramen should not open another restaurant until they get their quality consistent. The ramen in this place is a disgrace . The broth was flavourless and dull. No liquor license yet.
Always always always salty broth .....
Best ramen in town ? I think so.
Food good, service not so.
MSG and overhyped ramen .
I agree with other reviewers, insipid broth, undercooked instant noodles ... What a disgrace , avoid.
Rámen delicioso! Ótimo custo benefício e ambiente descolado, bom para almoço ou jantar . O ovo adicional é meio estranho na textura , mas também saboroso. Meu pedido foi o caldo a base de missô .
There is a charter garlic flavor ramen (can't remember the actual name). It's one of my favorite things to eat - Con Healy
Nice ambience, rich broth and a lot of ingredients. Highly recommend tonkotsu ramen. Chicken karaage are pretty good too. - Sasha Lutsaievskyi
They serve a great vegetarian ramen! You can ask for it spicy. - Stephanie
Nice place. The taro slush with red bean is awesome. - Francis R
Comfortable, great seats and audio. I totally recomend it. - Antonio Lisboa
