Take a trip in the time machine: This is Berlin West before the wall came down. The smoked fish is outstanding, the salads taste like in old times. And the team obviouly loves their job.

This is one of the most wonderful food markets /stores I have ever been to -- cozy up to the lunch counter and order some of their famous fish lunches . Everything here is delicious.

Fish soup at the Schlemmerecke is quite good, boulette and leberwurst are old-fashioned and well-made. Just skip the mashed potatoes , unless you find play-doh tasty. Get the potato salad instead.

Totally disappointed by this place. Meat and fish do not look fresh at all, prices are incredibly high and place is pretty dirty . Did not understand why it is so popular and recommended to visit.

Wir hatten Fischsuppe und Matjes nach Hausfrauenart und müssen sagen : Einfach lecker und irgendwie voll Berlin. Nette Bedienung und wirklich schmackhaft. Absolute Empfehlung und ein echter Tipp.

Toller Fisch , gutes Fleisch , viele Spezialitäten! Außerdem gibt es die Möglichkeit, vor Ort Austern und ein Gläschen Champagner zu schlürfen... Das Personal ist super nett
