Lived near Radnor for 40+ years. Wildlife is varied, and as hunting is prohibited, deer show little fear of mankind: they stand & watch when people drive up. Change of seasons is gorgeous as well .
It is so beautiful there !! I love all the trails around the beautiful park !! All the animals you get to see are amazing to like all the deer families you see !! It's really breathtaking !!

The trail around the lake is really of of the best and also there are lots of things to watch while walking.

Stunning views along the lake . Plenty of hiking trails of different lengths and difficulty. A must-do if youre visiting Nashville.

On weekends or exceptionally nice days, parking is really tough. Go early or be prepared to wait for a spot.
It was a beautiful lake . Fun hike . It was nice to see so many people out walking!

Take the entrance off Granny White instead of Franklin -Franklin side parking is a lot smaller & often doesn't have any available spots.
This is nashville's biggest secret. Beavers are back. Otters swimming around and playing. Look high in the trees for red tailed hawks.
Get there early or head to the lot off Granny White to ensure there is a place to park .

The trails , the wildlife are beautiful
Radnor Lake is such a great place to walk and relax. Bring your dogs too - however, they are not allowed on the wood trails , just the road around the lake .
Ganier Ridge a little before sunset when the leaves aren't out yet.
There is a beautiful spot at the top of Ganier Ridge for book reading or horizon gazing.
The most beautiful part of Nashville. Hands down.
Spring is about to sprung, which makes a Hike along Ganier Ridge a must at this time of year. See if you can spot the Barred Owls.

Keep your eyes open, this is a great place to see animals of all kinds, including deer and owls.
The hiking here is some of the most beautiful and well cared for trails in this area! I love the South Lake Trail !
