Service is efficient and dim sum came out hot and fresh. It’s more expensive than some other dim sum restaurants but the quality is better and the portions are bigger. Everything was delicious.
It's crazy cheap , and really amazing. Specials: the "golden cream bun " which is basically a delicious sweet egg custard inside a steamed bun , and the "honey bbq pork puff"
Dim Sum : On weekends, I'd recommend getting there before 10:30 to avoid a 45 minute wait. Har gow (steamed shrimp dumplings ), turnip cakes with XO Sauce , and No mai gai (lotus wraps ) are my 3 musts.
Best dim sum in LA (which makes it the best in the US). Great for dinner too.
Best dim sum ever and we’re pretty sure it’s all made to order... You don’t have to go to L.A.’s Chinatown for great Chinese food : Monterey Park/San Gabriel Valley is the best of the best.
If you don't want to wait 40-60mins before getting seated, come either super early or after 2pm(they close at 3), and their last call for Sunday Dim Sum is around 2:30.

Some of the best dumplings in LA can be found here.
My top places for Dim Sum ; chicken feet , fried taro cake , tofu wrap , and snow buns w/almond filling. The owner or hostess is very receptive to your needs.
9.8 absolutely amazing. Shanghai style dim sum is a must
Some of the dumplings were amazing but some were oddly overstuffed with multiple items. Like the pork dumplings all had shrimp in them... And then I got food poisoning...so sadly I cannot recommend.
It offers familiar dishes — pork buns , sticky rice in lotus leaves, steamed spareribs with black beans and chile—but chef Peter Lai adds novel twists or simply does standard versions better.
A very different Dim Sum - as in fresh, high quality ingredients and great, but not overpowering flavors.
Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was mediocre but this is a Chinese restaurant so I wouldn't take points off for that.
Food is great!! The dim sum is hot and fresh. Make sure you try the yellow mustard !!
Crispy Shrimp Noodle Roll and the Shanghai Dumplings are a must!
Get there early (by 10am) to beat the crowd!
pork shu mai/crystal shrimp hawgrow

The baked dim sum items are pretty good. Try the Xue san bao (snow mountain bun ) and macau egg tarts .
My favorite Dim Sum ! You get what you pay for indeed!
Impressive taro dumplings .
Get dim sum and congee . Delivered to order. No carts .
They don't put enough shark fin in their soup . Even though it's been outlawed, I still want it! It's cultural!
No carts , look at the menu while ur waiting so that your food comes to you fast. Portions are big.
We really wanted their spicy crab and when my friend called, they didn't have any at the restaurant . At our request, they went out and got live crab just for our dinner for an additional charge.
One of my top 3 dinsum in LA.. Get in by 11 for a good seat.Weekends are typical monterey park, long waits ..
The Dragon eggplant is very good.
@chandavkl Pineapple topped baked chicken bun
Their service got so much better than how it was last year. Decent service+awesome dim sum . Don't miss out on all the good stuff here.
If the wait is too long. .. become Chinese. .. the hostess will seat you quicker.
Shrimp dumplings (har gow ) the size of your fist or maybe just mine...
Try their Crispy Shrimp Rice Noodle ! Not your ordinary dim sum !
Dim sum and the cozy atmosphere
Best Dim Sum in the 626 hands down.
Made a 2nd visit one year later and was a bit disappointed at their service and some of their food. Empty restaurant on a Wednesday and they still screwed up on service and food.
Get the shanghai dumplings and snow balls. Be warned: Pot stickers here are a tad lackluster and there are no carts .
$0.75 for chili sauce and mustard ; $1.25 for fresh chili peppers ... Geez
Crispy snow bun and large pork shui mai got me and Tasana K. addicted to this restaurant .
