Alaska's Only Historic Theme Park
2300 Airport Way Fairbanks , AK 99701 United States
If people say you should visit "Alaskaland" they mean this place. It's hopping in summer with shows, the salmon bake , air museum , & the train (a must for all ages). The gallery is open year around.
A sort of amusement park-historical park-picnic grounds celebrating Fairbanks' history. Check out the old town cabins . Visit the railroad car Harding took up to Alaska to launch the Alaska Railroad!
Catch the show @ the Palace . Eat @ the Salmon Bake . Take the train around the park . Get an old time photo taken in Gold Rush village . Eat some ice cream . Play some putt putt golf . Go to the Air Museum
This is an interesting place if you're into history. Some of the museums seem redundant though.
Must do while in Fairbanks:) I need to schedule my return visit! www.poshme2.com <--looking for alaska reps to join my team!
Lots to see. Restricted becaues it's wintern but has lots of potential for summer time
Large variety of gift shops in pioneer setting. Always nice to walk through.

Very interesting!
This is where dreams come to die.
The festival wasn't all it was talked up to be - just a bunch of street vendors, a few live performers, and a bunch of people asking you to sign petitions. - Colby Moorberg
A lovely bird preserve where you can check out Canadian Geese, Mallards, Sand Hill Cranes and more. Also check out the old dairy and the nature trail! Occasional moose sightings are not uncommon. - Rick Webb
Great place to enjoy a beer or two. This place also has some interesting meat options such as a reindeer, elk, and bison pizza. - Alexander Dunn

The French Dip on the bar menu is consistently very good. Might be the best in town. - Tom Hewitt
