If you're lucky enough to stay here make sure to book a stroll with www.bestdublinwalkingtours.com for a real entertaining insight into Dublin, it's history, people and wit. You won't regret it!

Great hotel that feels more like a cozy B&B. I've also stayed at the Dublin Westin and would say the rooms are comparable, but the service and overall "class " of Merrion is far superior.

Experience an ultimate spa break here; the Tethra Spa features an infinity swimming pool , steam room and spa treatment areas.

Absolutely stunning on every level. Brilliant warm and professional staff . Surprisingly good value for money . The Cellar restaurant is a particular highlight.

Fireplaces ? Marble floors? General all round luxury ? All this and more at The Merrion, perfect for spoiling yourself.

Classic old hotel in center of town . Check out the Cellar Bar . Hotel also has indoor pool .

Markus Huber

I only can recommend The Cellar restaurant . It´s in a direct neighbourhood of the irish parliament. The food is extraordinary good. The selected wine (Burke´s Bordeaux ) is a recommendation for itself. Read more

I expected more for a 5-star. Food was just ok. We had belly ache both days after breakfast . Service great, but only from the porters . Not real value for money .

One of Dublin's most prestigious hotels - the cellar bar/restaurant also accommodates children with a play area on Sunday's. Not the best venue to host a conference though
