The Palm Beach Boat House people have taken this over a few days ago, introducing their flair and fare, so it's likely to be very popular, so get there early! (& do all old comments are outdated).
Grab a table as soon as you arrive, then stand in line to order. If you have a big group, take a photo of the menu and send it to someone at your table (they don't have printed table menus).
A place that forces you to rudely hover waiting for someone to leave their table and snatch it literally as they stand up. If three of you get to the same vacating table, whoever's ruder gets it.
Bacon & Egg roll is a winner. Takeaway is best as there's a whole beach (plenty of benches ) to take advantage of.
Nice on a weekday.. Not too busy. Friendly staff too :)
Very nice - Sausage Roll was the Bollocks. 9/10
Great for a Sunday meal
Beautiful decor! Yummy food.
Very nice place
Very nice, but overpriced. Coffee on the day we went was average - little crema and quite weak. Don't even bother going here for Saturday brunch - unless you want to wait an hour for food
Boatshed Tiramisu is amazing.
Cool place! Friendly !
Slow service, huge lines , forgetful staff and general appearance of no one having any idea how to run a cafe . Food was nice, but took 1.5 hours to be served so won't bother again.
No doubt a nice spot but slow super slow service and average food. Trading on image rather than being a good quality cafe / restaurant .
Second visit since renovation and the coffee is crap they don't have a proper barista avoid this place for coffee
Toast was cold poached eggs lukewarm price high
Mediocre
My favourite place at balmoral. Get in early for breakfast because it gets really busy. Pricey but worth it. Amazing decor and fast service. - Phillip Minuto
