Jake's on the Lake

N Shore was a 2nd home growing up and Jakes was always a must! Finally got a chance to return after 20 yrs and I can gladly say it's still good and definitely a must have if you are in Tahoe City.

The Mai-Tai is delicious! but, if you are in the mood for fish , Ahi Tuna Jake Style and Macadamia crusted Halibut are AMAZING!!!

Fish is fresh and well done, short ribs were fall-off-the-bone rich, poke rolls something new! Beautiful views and overall well concocted dishes. Definitely go if you are in Tahoe .

Such a great spot - amazing views and a great atmosphere. Food was good too and the happy hour menu was such a good deal .

Hula pie is always a good choice even if it isn't as good as the original kimos .

Seafood medley was great, kids wolfed down the surf & turf , I had the braised ribs and it was delicious! Service by Jeff was also top notch!

The environment is fancy , and has good view point for Lake Tahoe .

Standard mid-range mediocrity that one expects to find in Tahoe City. Awesome view , decent beer selection , pleasant space.

Had the Kimo 's Hula Pie where we were in Hawaii. Just have to have it again.

Happy hour till 6:30 is awesome. Otherwise it's over-priced.

Waited waited waited our table was ready then... Oh it's a mistake... Waited waited waited. They put us at the end! Spent a great amount at the bar . Won't go back.

Try the ahi poke roll and/or calamari they're soon delish! :)

Food has gone dramatically down hill .

Must try the rueben sandwich . I prefer the fries over coleslaw . Yum!
