Very nice place for a great diner : the food is excellent from starters to desserts . And the wine menu is fantastic. We enjoyed it a lot in addition to the service provided by the staff . ????
The best - cocktails in Toronto. Mike Webster is an artisan beyond measure. His homemade bitters are only outdone by his skill. please - come here for an amazing meal, and life changing cocktails
Get the sweetbread on tuna . Its incredible. Had the octopus as well and it was cooked just right. Patatas were the perfect amount of crunchiness. And the basque cake on the dessert menu was incredible
Bar Isabel is a cozy , welcoming Spanish addition to Little Italy, and its tapas have had everyone talking since it opened in the spring.[Eater 38 Member]
Everything was delicious. The octopus , the Salumi , and the basque cake were especially good. Solid cocktail program too, which was kind of a pleasant surprise.
Nice cozy setting, great for dates, very exotic menu where almost every dish is a hit. Great cocktails (always changing) and great service
Fantastic tapas ! I recommend the Pork with Chorizo spice, Patatas Bravas , the 3 Cheese platter & the ceviche . Excellent atmosphere and service as well !
so expensive and SO worth it - everything i ate here was phenomenal, especially the fois gras appetizer . the service was also impeccable. i can honestly say worth the price.
We played the "guess how much the bill is" game, and to our surprise we were both under. Except for the always amazing octopus and great cocktails , it's questionable if it's really worth the price.
This place is solid - a perfect, warm and lively date spot . Cocktails are spot on, and the Basque cake is simple but somehow life altering .
We came on a Sunday night looking to take out of town friends somewhere good. The kitchen was open late , so we ended up here. Impeccable service, and amazing food! Get the tartare , croquettes !
Very hard to get a reservation , though there's a reason. Delicious food, great service. Loved the cheese , chorizo , and foie gras . Patatas bravas were a disappointment though. No sangria .
Make sure to go with a big group and order a bit of everything. The ceviche , octopus , snow peas leaves, and bread with pan con tomate are the must try dishes!
I couldn't get a good photo by there's a reason why it's hard to get a table here. It's damn amazing!! Food, drinks, service = A+++++++
I don’t think you can order wrong here. Fantastic small plates just don’t forget to leave room for dessert . You will need a reservation most likely unless eating past 10pm.
Very good group tasting menu (cold plate, foie gras , pickled anchovies , pan con tomate, octopus , dry aged ribeye , ....) well paired with wines . Nice ambiance.
Great late night placewith even better food! Listed as Canada's 8th best restaurant , the place offers quality food at great prices! The seared foie gras is a must try!
Fantastic experience in every regard -- attentive genial service, creative cocktails and delicious foods. Standouts: "Blood and Sand" cocktail , patatas bravas and pickled veggies .
An excellent place to dine-in with your friends and an outstanding service provided by our server, Jessica. The ceviche , the octopus and the lobster soup are fantastic.
Wine is pricey , but they do tasting menus starting from $40/person (no previous notice needed): just pick a few items off the menu you definitely want to try and they do the rest :)
Don't miss out on the Albacore Tuna Tiradito! The meat platter, patatas bravas and beet salad are also delicious.
Ceviche . Patatas bravas . Roasted bone marrow . All in all: delicious food, not cheap but worth it. Friendly service .
Drinks: Smoking Jacket alternates between a rye smokeyness and fruity apricot - not bad. La Boqueria is a nice sweet floral gin drink - worth a try
Fast service , and wonderful tapas . Cocktails are potent and delicious.
You need to get the sobrasada and bask cake . Their cocktails are perfectly balanced, service is flawless and atmosphere is intimate
One of the best and most authentic tapas restaurants in North America. The grilled octopus is to die for.
Side bar seating provided a great view of all our fellow patrons. Food and drinks were excellent, service was outstanding. Basque cake is truly worth it.
First time (a la carte) was amazing. Second time (tasting menu ) was completely off - fat meat and vegetables drowned in garlic .
The coca flat bread is unbelievable. Also the wine list is very good, varied and different. Also the whole fish ceviche is delish.
We've been eating all octopus all around the city , and Isabel still has the best octopus by a wide wide margin....pricing and wait time aside
It's a cute and kinda loud place, I really liked the spicy cauliflower actually!
My favourite restaurant in Toronto. Incredible menu and venue.
Great service and beer ! Try the anchovies and whatever they have on tap from ontarien breweries .
Grilled octopus is amazing. Ceviche is very good. Great cocktails , look out for the specials. Older Flame is nice.
Whole fish ceviche , cocktails , desserts - seriously some of the best I've had in the city - and top notch service!
Exceptionally good tapas . Loved the beef tongue , chorizo rojo, and patatas bravas .
Certainly lives up to the hype. Excellent service even at 1:30am. Thankful that the kitchen closes so late. Can't wait to go back.
Their portions are a bit on the small side, so if you're looking for a place to fill you up, this might not be it. It is more tapas style .
Same night reservation through DINR was easy. Bone marrow is exceptional. One of my favorite places in Toronto.
Great and unique dishes, definitely try the Sobrasada & Foie gras . The service felt very rushed though.
My Favorite Ex Girlfriend: sweet citrusy fizzy pleasant juice . Alcohol not that apparent
My number one was the Sobrasada & Foie gras
Cinnamon bun and blood sausage ... I would go back just for that and I don't even have a sweet tooth.
It's all about the octopus . Don't skip it. And save room for the basque cake for dessert .
Their fried chicken is the best chicken I've ever had, no joke. Want 4 pieces instead of the 3? Just ask and it's only an additional $4.
Had Grilled Octopus for the second time. Still fresh, still meaty, still juicy, still awesome.
If you've got 6 people, the octo is a must. Amazing food, amazing cocktails , amazing Spanish tiles.
Everything was epic. Order the octopus for sure.
Bar Isabel never disappoints. Excellent food, excellent drinks... service is almost always stellar.
Great staff . Amazing food. Octopus is a must!
This place is brilliant. Feels like Barcelona. Must have the charred octopus, leeks and romesco and defiantly an orange marmalade donut. Cocktails are some of the best. Flats are a must. SRO - Joanna Sable
Rosada sangria was awesome - very refreshing! Cava was also totally worth it. - Vandana
Very good service and no-line brunch! Not a huge brunch menu but tasty dishes. - ???? Derin Su & Söğüt ???? ???????? Fırat & Güleç ????
These cocktails take a while to make, but they're worth every minute. Arguably the best in Toronto. - Hipster Travel Blog - Travels of Adam
Great, knowledgeable and friendly service. Always stop at the Bottle Shop before leaving. - James Paul
Great beer bar, fancy, unique, amazing. Get's way too busy though… sometimes it's worth it, sometimes not. - James Kachan
