First tip... Don't let the line wrapped around the building scare you away. It moves fairly quickly. I've enjoyed the burgers on each visit. Chicken sandwiches and hot dogs are really tasty as well .

Yummy hot burgers & fries ...the drive thru line moved fast...they had a crowd inside (you could see from the drive thru line )... parking lot had easy access in & out.I cant wait to try the milkshakes !

If you're from North Carolina....you already know! Cook-out is The Business! YUMMY milkshakes , good pulled pork sandwiches , wonderful grilled chicken and hamburgers ...the list goes on.

The burgers are handmade fresh, cooked to order. The fries are awesome, they're not those little skinny pitiful ones, but the big fat ones. This place is like having a five guys, in your backyard !

On my first visit here I had the BBQ Style Grilled chicken tray with fries and onion rings , it was quite tasty. There was a line around the building and out the door, service was good and fast.

Always a line both inside and out. The dining area is about the size of a GEO Metro. Get in, order, and get somewhere else to enjoy this awesome food. This is the In-N-Out of the east coast.

Fighting words: I think I've found my east coast In & Out burger . Everything was great. Chicken Sammie's are spot on. Get Cajun fries and caramel fudge milkshake .

The line is very quick. I couldn't got out of the rest room to wash my hands as the service was fast. The burgers , onion rings and fries are excellent!

When you go, get the "Cook Out Tray " for 4.99 you pick an entree with two sides and drink!! For a dollar more add dat milk shake doe.

Wow, get the Big Double Burger with cheese . It's melt in your mouth! Don't forget the caramel fudge milkshake ! You won't be disappointed!

Great peanut butter banana shake ! So thick you can't use a straw. Good price and value overall. Very crowded but moved relatively quickly. Not enough seating.

The strawberry cheesecake was absolutely delicious. The burger was just OK. The food inexpensively priced. The long line that wrapped around the building went by pretty quickly.

Definitely a good burger , but the fires and hush puppies are okay. Nothing to brag about. It just goes along with your meal, but I would come here for a burger and to try some other menu items.

The fries are real potatoes with skins on cooked perfect crispy not greasy.

Good price for the trays and always a line around the bldg.. not to mention hundreds of shake flavors to choose from..

Well I enjoyed the food at Cook-Out. I will be going back soon! This restaurant was packed when I went. Be prepared to wait.

I would not compare this to In-n-Out, it has a LONG way to go to be in the same consideration. It was just ok, the variety of shakes and fries were good. What you get for your money is great.
