Great place..as a big family we thought we wouldn't be able to be together because the difference in the kids ages but noooo....from 6-35 stay together except for one slide. had an amazing family time
Really fun and if you are gonna visit it's under $300 so it's cheep and maki quest is a awesome thing to do! Visit it some time
Place is awesome for the kids and has very good service ... I will say it's made to play here and not for comfort because the beds are not very comfortable ..
Yes this place can get expensive but it's no different than any other family fun tourist get away attraction . The food at the restaurant is not the best but it's not the worst either. Will be back!
The beds are very lumpy. The noise in the hallways doesn't get quiet until 11pm and can start at 7am the next morning. Water park is awesome!
Make sure to apply the military discount . This is a very expensive 2 night stay for our family of 7... But worth it since the kids having so much fun... #Mommy2Five
The line for the slides is a lot shorter at night. plan accordingly. you will get to slide a lot more.
Stayed one night and played on the waterpark for two days. My 4-year-old and I had a blast! Food was pretty good.
Great niece and nephews love it but it's very expensive . My hubby and I bring our niece and her 3 kids and with room, food and etc...it's almost $1,000 a day for a family of 6. Disney is cheaper
Note: Unlike MagiQuest at Myrtle Beach or Pigeon Forge, when you sign up for MagiQuest at GWL, you get 4 days of play (not just 60 or 90 minutes)! Be sure to register at the start of your stay and s
Fun, but unnecessarily expensive . The upcharge of around $150+ after Xmas is shady. They should offer free access to MagiQuest. Great decor and safety awareness. Tornado is where you want to be.
spa ! arcade . magicquest. food. tons of water! what's not to love. ur wristband is ur room key also they scan it to charge snacks to the room
Kids 48 inches & up can ride all slides w/o parents. 42-48 inches can not ride the Howling Tornado and must have parental accompaniment on 2 others. They are good for the rest of the waterpark!
Guests have access to their expansive waterpark but the fun doesn't end there. Try MagiQuest, the Northern Lights Arcade and the Howl in One Mini-Golf.
Buy the Souveneer cup for $12.99 Unlimited refills on Coca-cola and Icee's for the duration of your stay!
This resort hotel near Charlotte boasts an 84,000-square-foot water park , a lodge-wide interactive game called MagiQuest, and an arcade . And did we say it's a hotel , too?
Check in begins at 1pm but you can't get into your room until 4pm! You can begin using the water park at 1 though.
Room has small fridge and microwave - we packed a cooler with our fav snack foods, saved a ton of $ and ate our favorite food - having a BLAST!!
bring snacks and drinks & walk back to ur room to eat. a slushie here was $10! also bring ur own beach towels theirs r small and thin
Kids eat free till 29 March 2012. The catch is 1 kid per parent eats free at moose cottage for breakfast and dinner not lunch . Still saves a ton of money.
Lots of things to do but ridiculously expensive . .99 for a slice of tomato ! Each game in the arcade is the equivalent of 2$ We enjoyed ourselves but won't be back. We can do more for less at Disney
The Tornado ride is not to be taken lightly, the drop off is crazy. It is definitely top five rides foe me ever.
Make sure you have plenty of room on the credit card as they set aside money each night on reserve to cover incidentals
Great place for your young kids and teens, we love it here, so much to do.
Working here, The waterpark is always at 84-86 degrees. The reason why it feels cold during winter months is because there is no humidity.
As a local we loved to just swing by and play Magiquest.
Magi-quest gives a very good workout
Stop by Dunkin Donuts at night to avoid long lines in the morning.
Rather than eating at the Lodge , go to Denny's. 20% discount with Great Wolf wristband.
The Great Wolf Rune must be done in order with a visit to the Star Chart BETWEEN each step.
The beds are so uncomfortable. This is our third stay here & the 3rd time waking up unrested with back pain. For this price, beds should be much better. Almost $800 for one night for our family of 6!
Be sure to get the meals with your stay. You get a great discount on the buffet .
The chefs are amazing and the housekeeping staff are great!
Nice place, but you have to get the biggest room to get 2 bathrooms . At about 380.00 a night! :/
The yellow ride is by far the best ride in the park !
Go early and late for the slowest lines
Great place to take the family for a vacation
Slide at night...almost no lines and slides are extra cool after dark!
Rooms are pricey . Food, drinks, snacks , are VERY expensive . Beach towels in the indoor water park are very small, and uncomfortable. Beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows are horrible. Meh.
They charge you for parking and lockers. Pretty wild given their prices.
It's not 84 degrees inside, more like 77. Bathrooms are freezing! Bring your own beach towels , the pool towels provided are small, thin and scratchy,
Couldn't check into room until 4p, then the maid is banging on the door at 930; required check-out by 11a. Other than that a good experience.
It was awesome, Lord willing we are going back ever year.
Great place to being kids of all ages!
Get a room on the 4th floor and it will have high vaulted ceilings.
I have never been here and really like to have some information sent to me!!!
Waterpark is great. Has rooms that can hold up to 10 people.
Men: Please do not wear white trunks. You may as well be wearing cellophane once the water hits you. Thanks!
Love it :)
Lots of tacked on hidden charges
Kid meals are $7.99 and include wolf ears! Super pleased with the friendly and patient staff. Oh, and the adult buffet was fresh and tasty. - Leigh Brown
Floor was sticky which made me hesitant, but food was fast, delicious, and fresh, plus staff was super friendly and competent. - Marirene Edwards
MagiQuest rocks! My 3 year old, 9 year old and my husband and I are all Master Magis & LOVE it! Ask for Rusty at the Magic Shoppe, he's so awesome! - Michele Carroll
No outside food or coolers allowed. I thought for the price there should be a lot more to do inside. But its not for us, our kids loved their time in and out of the pool! #GreatWolfLodge #Mommy2Five - Monica H
