America’s oldest short-line railroad and a leading tourist railway that operates museum quality, working, turn-of-the-century steam locomotives.
301 Gap Rd Ronks , PA 17572 United States
We took a 45-minute round-trip ride from Strasburg to Paradise , PA in one of the first-class lounge cars and had a great time. Comfortable seating , refreshments available, fun for the whole family.
Wonderful day spent at the railroad my kids loved it, nicely kept, great smiling faces! Only 50 min. from Hershey! The dinning train was great!
An awesome stop overall for kids and adults. Very well kept. Keep your eyes peeled for the farmer selling homemade root beer at the exit of the parking lot - delicious!
I really enjoyed our ride on the historic steam train . It's only 45 minutes which flew by but it was still very informative and interesting. So far probably my favorite thing we've done in Lancaster
Super fun and educational for kids and adults alike. Not a lot of places that have rides like this nowadays so take advantage!
This railroad has beautiful architecture , sadly when I visited I wasn't able to ride the train . But overall it was a great place to visit!
Great event for Thomas lovers! Make sure you arrive an hour before your train ride so you have plenty of time to park and board the train .
Awesome place. Very impressed with their quality. Get the open car !
More enjoyable when Thomas is NOT here! The coach car has plusher seats and same great view as the open air cars, for $2 less per ticket. Pack a picnic lunch and disembark to eat or go into town !
We love riding on the Strasburg railroad , the round trip takes about 45 minutes. The scenery is great. We recommend sitting on the station side of the train for the best view .
Excellent place for train lovers! Thomas the train weekends are PACKED!
It's so exiting, interesting and funny. You should try ,at least one time ????.

Take the open car if you can, beautiful!
Ok, it's great if you have little kids and like to see a lot of corn fields and u did get to see the corn maze. But no amish I'm over it.
Check the railroads official website to times and tickets.
Be prepared to park away from the area and take the school bus shuttle! No shade at the bus stop in the parking lot . Be prepared for huge crowds in the Thomas days.
Great fun, friendly service . Definitely get the dining car... Air conditioned vs coach.
Splurge on the open car , it's worth it but beware the begging that will occur from the kids on the ride back past Cherry Crest Farms and the Maize Maze.
Nice trip to Paradise and back through the Amish Country corn fields .
Lots of fun for both kids and adults.
