This park is tucked away off of Slaughter Lane and is an escape from the growing suburbs around it. It features 6 miles of trails , various fields and courts, a disc golf course and playground .
Todd Jackson of Texas Parks and Wildlife has tested the creek water and says it is safe to swim in. He says it is cleaner than most creeks of it's type in the area.
Show up early and enjoy a brisk walk along the Vita 2000 course. My pups & I love the tranquility of side paths and proximity to our hm base!
Enjoy walking w/the dogs along the trails behind the Vita2000 path and make it back to the car w/out either of them getting stuck with burs! ;0)
Explore the woods, there are fun Geocaches here. But bring water!
