During summer time you shouls try to get a place in the outside Atrium. Chilling winds and shade are wonderful on hot days. In the evening the lights are creating a cosy atmosphere .

Make res. to downstairs as it is less noisy . Needs reservation . Slow but good service . We had mixture of starters , schnitzel , dark angus , tuna and tbone steaks ;all were delicous. I recommend Angus.

A Berlin institution. Great for people watching with a good chance to spot a VIP. But the food is of a seriously good quality and the staff fast and friendly . I never had a bad evening there.

My partner and I took his mother and aunt here for lunch . It is perfect for that kind of thing. I especially enjoyed the beef tartare and cherry tart . Great courtyard and excellent service too.

Excellent location full of history and vibe. Great winer schnitzel . Awful awful service. And no air conditioning it’s like eating in an oven. If you are patient and can tolerate heat a must go.

One of my fav places in Berlin for food and service with reasonable prices. For some maybe posh and expensive . But good food. Always very busy. Pay a bit of attention to your clothes as a tip.

The restaurant and the service are definitely at the level expected for this type of places, BUT I am disappointed with the Wiener Schnitzel . It is damn too thin and you can barely feel the meat. ????
