McKay Used Books, CDs, Movies & More

Well , there's books . And books with a side of books . Quite a few CDs and LPs hanging around too. Lost 2 hours in here without trying.

The record selection isn't as diverse or well organized as The Great Escape IMHO but I still found a couple of gems (and crazy finds) there. Book selection is great though!

They're known for books , but we like the selection of music , board games and movies they offer as well .

Found movies that are hard to find elsewhere. Great deals mostly, but the newer items cost just about the same as any other store. Spend an entire afternoon here while visiting the food truck outside .

I love this place. Great place to pick up vintage video games . Excellent prices on CD and DVD. Overall a great place to shop. Staff is very good too

A well-organized large, independent media store. Everything is organized by category with everything from books and music to audiotapes, video games , and other media .

The place to buy books in Nashville. You just have to have patience & know what you are looking for.

My wife is from Knoxville where the home store is (Yes, McKays was started in Knoxville) and we try to get here whenever we are in Nashville or Chattanooga

Great place, great prices even if you're looking for new. New vinyl on the other hand..similar prices all around.

Great place for Christmas gifts ! I traded a few old books and got some "new" ones for folks on my Christmas list. Awesome place!

The books are filed in a rather creative manner so if you're looking for a specific title , check with the desk to see if it appears in their inventory. You still may not find it, however.

Lots to choose from if you have the patience to do some digging. If you're looking for specific titles , you may be pretty frustrated
