This is truly a gem of a place! An indoor rink situated atop a shopping mall . Cavernous and active with skaters of all levels and skill proficiency! This is a fun wonderland regardless of season.

If you know how to skate faster than one can walk, skip the weekend open skate , because that's how fast you will skate . Way too crowded , need to do a better job limiting number of people admitted.

This is a nice place to come if your kids like to skate or play hockey .There is always classes going on but they also have a place we’re people can open skate The area is pretty clean and good parking

A great hub for DMV ice hockey and the Washington Capitals NHL team! Has a great selection of Capitals gear, and the Caps Cafe has been renovated! Definitely one of the best rinks in NOVA!

Best days to skate or solo practice is on weekdays, weekends are always packed. Always check their website for skate hours.

You can rent a third of the rink and it's affordable during covid times for a private pod. At the Capitals' practice facility so sweet ice.

Always show up at least half an hour early for practices and skates , that way you'll get a good spot, and they usually start early!

Open skate is crazy-crowded and the skate guards don't manage the flow very well . Probably better to look elsewhere (at least on busy weekends).

The pro shop has relocated upstairs from the original store. Skate sharpening is upstairs not in the team store downstairs.
