Yes, it's old. Yes, the seats are rickety and there's no stadium seating or 3D or good food. But you're here to watch a second-run movie for cheap , so you can't complain.
This place was a little hard to find. Don't get mixed up with the Silvercity across the street. Go into the BMO building, up the stairs & through the hall behind some glass doors by the bank itself
Good if you want to watch a movie on your own. It's quiet . Be warned, this place isn't fancy like other theatres.
All theaters have been updated with digital projectors . The presentation is bright and crisp.
This theatre cuts out the bullshit from before the movie . Just 5 minutes of theatrical trailers remain -- no pre-show or other (non-movie) ads. Unfortunately, that means they also have no TimePlay.
1980s-eque interior, which is funny. Seats aren't elevated . Video quality seems somewhat bad. No 3D movies . Usually has movies that are no longer shown in most theatres, or movies that are unpopular.
It's old. No 3D. Economic and also nostalgic.
Remember those cinemas where you felt like you were watching tv cause the screen is so small? This is one of those. Avoid and go to one of the bigger theaters..
Still some obscure movies here but need to update this theatre.
Don't sit at the back. Seats don't decline and heads get in the way!!!
Nice theatre to go to when you wanna do the movie all by yourself kinda day.
Why is this theatre so freezing. Look I know hardly anyone is here but you could put the heat on. I felt like I should be wearing long underwear and it's only mid October!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't watch a movie here if you can avoid it. The joint needs a makeover. The rooms are small and seating is squishy. In the winter the room was an oven.
Pick up a bag of sweets at Sugarmountain beforehand: half a block up Yonge street next to BMV and Starbucks.
They don't validate parking at the movie theater . :(
You can buy your ticket at the consessions stand, so you don't have to stand in line twice.
Have the power "breakfast " at Aroma cafe for brunch before catching a movie
Awful....dirty baths. .they charge extra for butter and for water. ..crappy theaters....Yonge eglinton center blows this place away..
It's just a matter of time before this place goes out of business.
Should make sure you see this is not the theater across, Google maps is not very helpful here.
Huge space to chill with a view and grab fancy popcorn with your friends or by yourself. Love it! - Giovana Ramos
Staff was helpful and very friendly. Theatre complex is big, clean and modern. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a movie. - Jordan Renaud
It is indeed a hidden gem in the city. The screens may be a bit smaller than the regular large chain theaters but it makes up for that in the comfort you get being there. Highly recommend it ☺ - Amanda A.
Said it once and I'll say it again. Some of the best staff in the hood. Great job 0 of the time. A must stop in the Y&E neighborhood. - JP Urry
Can get really really crowded. Not necessarily a bad thing. This is a book store! - Marvin
The salmon is so good! Excellent little olive salad that goes with it! - Frank Blackman
