Every spring/summer the rose garden is a perfect urban oasis.
Visit the rose garden on the north end of the park . It's peaceful , and gorgeous when it's in full bloom.

This park in the heart of the city has 2 ball diamonds, picnic areas, hiking paths, jogging trails, a swimming pool, children’s playground, events pavilion, a large open green space and a golf course. - Bill MacKenzie

The playground is great, especially during the winter months. You don't have to worry about your kids getting muddy. Also, the sidewalk around the green space is great for kid's bike riding. - Laura Snyder
