The Green Man

I can't get over how much I love this place. The Green Man Cider is delicious, but even better -- the staff is fantastic. Almost too busy on Thursdays and Fridays, but perfect for a quiet Saturday.

This place is awesome. Can be quite crazy on work days, but it's a great pub for a quieter Saturday night. And the staff is ALWAYS excellent.

This used to be a good Sunday pub . No more, they don’t do Sunday roasts anymore nor do they have a good range of ciders . Place is like a ghost town . It always used to be packed on Sunday.

Cider is great. Nice and quiet on Saturdays. Great for groups

Fabulous range of ciders , as always, but noticed this time they use Fever Tree for their tonic water - true sign of a place that knows what it's doing...

Nice little pub with a good range of beers on tap . Function room available for hire upstairs.

On sunday menu, eaten ox cheek &red wine pie with seasonal vegetables & mash , it is delicious.

Love this pub - their Green man cider is amazing - but doesn't taste it's 7.3% - watch out! Have one of their excellent burgers to soak it up!

They do a great fish-finger sandwich for £3. Washed it down with some yummy cider , but watch out for the Greenman's own special brew , it's 7% and very drinkable.

If you want food, get the Fish & Chips with minted peas , it's lovely!!

Nicely refurbed but an inevitable price hike . £5 for a Sierra Nevada is rather steep.

OMG it's cider heaven in here! The Green Man Special is a bit sweet for me, but everything else is exceptional....

Service can be awful. Don't go in when it's a quiet night. We walked in 20 minutes before closing and the staff were very rude. Otherwise, it's usually an okay spot.

Watch out for the price hikes following the (good) refurb.
