Used to eat here all the time when I was a student but it's just as good as a “grown-up”. Get a plate of 20 dumplings for under $10, drink as much tea as you want and don't ignore the rice plates!

Don't come here for the service or atmosphere as you won't get it. Come here for the dumplings because they are absolutely amazing. The price is also really cheap . Would highly recommend.

Fried dumplings have an interesting texture, salty but all in all delicious! Watch out for the owner he'll rush you out to make room for those in the queue!

Been coming here for years, and the spicy noodles are still a traditional favorite, despite the countless new chefs and changes to the recipe. It's still a must-have everytime.

The dumplings are SO GOOD. Their steamed pumpkin dumplings are delicious.Don't expect 5 star service though. This place is cheap in every sense of the word.

Food's fantastic and cheap but you don't want to be sent upstairs. It's muggy and you'll probably be seated with strangers. Go in small groups, and even then, pray.

Steamed pork dumplings with noodles in soup , amazing!! Service is laughable, especially the guy in flanelette who looks like he just rolled out of bed, but hey, cheap and awesome food!

Expect to be hassled by the waiters every minute or so - make up your mind quickly! You'll be rewarded with cheap and tasty food in a flash.

Staff will try to escort you out as soon as you finish your meal. Recommend ordering a spring onion pancake between the table to share to avoid being booted out before you have finished your BYO beers

Are they talking to me, yelling at me or talking to someone behind me? I don't know. But for $11.80 I had two plates of dumplings & I'm stuffed—who cares!

Get the hot chicken noodle , pumpkin cake and fried pork dumplings , they are to die for!

The food is average, the service appalling, the music doesn’t suit (country & western?), the decor horrible, but this place is amazing!

Remember what you've ordered, because the waiters won't. They will try to give you everyone else's dishes in the meantime. Don't fall for it. The mushroom and veggie dumplings are too good to give up!

O.M.G Order a plate of steamed pork dumplings and you will never look back. Parcels of goodness! Shanghai mini buns are worth a go too.

The service might be suck but the shanghai fried noodle and the dumplings r still the best. Should try the vegie spring rolls as well .

Coeliacs may find this venue challenging. Especially when they run out of rice like they have today. Basically, any pre-existing dietary requirements don't exist when you walk through the doors here.

Really stodgy dumplings ; thick cases. Fillings not nearly tasty enough to make up for it. I'd go elsewhere.

You don't pay extra for service so you won't get any. Just enjoy the cheap delicious dumplings .

It's got to be the worst Chinese joint in the world. Yes good cheap food but the waitress attitude is So rude its disgusting i want to slap them arcoss the face. They snap at your so rude rude rude

Customer service so bad we had to leave before ordering. No amount of happy birthday music can make up for that.

No need to go past the first couple of pages of the menu. Just order a plate dumplings/mini-buns each... prepare to feel that over eaten/regretful stomach-ache afterwards

Have not been back for ages. Food still good but service has gone bad. Poor service. Try vegetarian fried rice cake . My friend who is vegetarian loves it.

Don't get distracted by the rest of the menu, this place is about the dumplings . Can be a bit of a madhouse, but reliably cheap & cheerful. Should expect random outbursts of "Happy Birthday" music .

Come here if u want uncooked dough , undercooked meat and overcooked xiao long bao . The only thing that was edible was the Chinese broccoli

Make good use of the vinegar and chili sauce on your table. And brace for the MSG headache coming your way.

The pan-fried dumpling (生煎锅贴) is the worst I've eaten. Powderish batter, dry unevenly fried skin. The only positive is the price. Dumplings in soup or steamed are good though.

Do not order anything but dumplings , those are fine.

Don't let them force you to order from the all you can eat menu...
