I've almost been to all the casinos in Detroit and I prefer this one every time. Love that it's around a lot of local bars . The hotel itself is beautiful with pleasant and accommodating staff
Newly renovated with more yet to come. Nice non-smoking game area on 2nd floor. Check out the Trappers Alley outdoor patio when weather is good.
We always have a nice time at Greektown! Go to the Pegasus for dinner and get the Greek Trio! The Vegetarian Greek Trio is my favorite, and you can't forget the Saganaki !
Try the Bistro 555. I heard that the food is great there. Then, come to the casino and try to beat me in Perfect Pair, Pai gow or Ultimate Texas Holdem. I have had the pre Media tour of the hotel a
not a Vegas casino , nevertheless is safe around because police presence. The ATM in here have a lower fee for withdrawal (around $2 per withdraw) where in some malls is $4. good for foreign visitors
Love the atmosphere!! And the fact that it's in Greektown and the restaurants and of course stopping by Astoria as well for some desert !!
Greektown Casino is a short People Mover ride away from the GM Ren Cen! It's a great place to grab a bite to eat before or after you hit the casino : http://www.gmrencen.com/dine.axis
When walking in, make the first right and down the stairs to the poker room. You can play Texas Holdem' for hours and not lose any money. And hey, you might catch some good cards.
The Mac n Cheese @ the full house grill is definitely worth trying, especially it's only $3 for a huge side order :)
The tip about having to pay for your players card after 90 days of inactivity is untrue. You just can't park for free during big events or big games if your account goes inactive.
Location, location, location... Free parking plus the prime rib sandwich & coffee before jumping straight onto 75
Fantastic rooms! Beautiful layouts and these bed sheets, wow, I want a set to take home.
room scenery is great

The parking is great - park here and take the People Mover anywhere downtown!
Love the roulette. Lots of machines for it with different minimums and bonuses
Watch the parking charges here: $10 for most Tigers games/Comerica Park events , $20 Lions/Ford Field events/Joe Louis events , I've even seen $30 for some events .

Love it, the rooms are amazing
In my opinion, the best of the three casinos in Detroit because of the location. MGM and Motor City are great but now within walking distance of downtown bars and restaurants .
Get a massage from one of the massage girls that float around the table games and high limit area!
Be sure to leave Larry, the bartender at Asteria, a big tip!
Great casino & hotel !
We love it here. Greektown sends you discount room rates and we come once a month!
My casino of choice in Detroit for gambling .
The parking 's good, but recently, they've been limiting access to parking to either the eighth or ninth level and below. They charge for some Downtown events and for Tigers, Lions and Wings games, too
Make sure u leave before 11 am cuz that's when the lady (formerly worked in prison ) kicks everybody out of their rooms screaming 'HOUSEKEEPING'!!!! That is so annoying.
I am a dealer at the casino . Drop by and play some cards and enjoy the environment.
Greektown Casino-Hotel has it all...gaming, entertainment, food, and the great district of Greektown to tout!
Since the renovations I no longer consider this place "The Old Timey Casino ". The atmosphere is much more energetic.
People watching to the max!!! Sit down at the cheap slots and prepare to be entertained!!
Cheap cocktails and food.....a little louder than the other two. But its a cheap night out if you are not gambling .
Opened in 2007, the 30-floor casino boasts more the 100,000 square feet of gaming space.
Thursday $45 tourney, only $5 house fee. Lowest house rake on a tourney anywhere. They start at 11am, and 7 pm.
Nice casino decent selection of table games
Nice place to crap around between 2 blacjack hand....i love it!!!
It pays to have a greektown casino card, free parking all the time, even during the major events !
If you decide to not wait for elevators at high traffic times.get off at 7. Otherwise u have to go back up...exhausted after going down 28 flight of stairs.
Awesome rooms and great food + location! Best place in d-town!!!
Baccarat is good to me. :-)
Free parking and valet service , fantastic rooms.
Tried Bistro 555 tonight. Wasn't impressed. The staff were all very nice. The food was disappointing. Steak was tough. Shrimp fettuccini had a grand total of four shrimp in the dish.
Love the fact that End Zones & ColdStone are right next to each other
Here I am again tilting on how bad the dealers here are. "Ann" deals ten hands an hour . Seriously what the Fu? Next dealer Tammy way faster. And nice. Rare employee here.
Poker room gives $1/hr comp, plus most days they have free hotdogs or sandwiches , pretzels , cookies , etc
Just park at the top. It's easier lol
Nice clean casino . Slots are tight!!
Invited some out of town family to meet up at Greek town . This place has really let itself go in terms of being dirty & 90% of slots are in need of an upgrade. We had dinner there, yup food poisoning.
Go to the patio bar for strong $2 Margarita and cheap beer
They are scanning players cards now to make sure they are working and active during events .
