Always a great experience eating here. Friendly and helpful service . The best soul food on this side of town . Baked chicken , baked fish any of the sides and the peach cobbler are all good!

OMG.. the BEST food I have EVER had in Jax HANDS DOWN! I had fried chicken , collard greens , mac n cheese , and shrimp ... hmmm Cannot wait to come back!

I had the baked chicken , mac and cheese and corn bread ...had a bite of my boyfriends oxtail and greens...EVERYTHING was excellent. Definitely coming back!

Saturday special- bbq ribs and chicken , corn bread , steam broccoli , smothered pork-chops, and yellow rice are delish!

Fried chicken is just right. Oxtails even better. Expect long lines on Sunday afternoons. Its worth the wait.

Sherie is such a joy in fact the whole atmosphere was a fresh of air. My first visit at this location, it will not be my last.

The shrimp and grits is probably the best I've ever had!

Kind of unimpressed. Didn't realize I was coming as they were closing, however, the greens and spinach tasted a few days old, the herb Chicken was good, but it's hard to mess up baked Chicken .
