We love this place with its magnificent atmosphere and all pieces of the "Varjú" brand! Our food was delicious and the staff were friendly . Don't forget to try the cheddar soup ! Yumm!

I'm sure that there is a tastier goulash in Budapest, this one is ok. Duck breast is a bit too fatty, couldn't finish. Though lavander jelly in it surprised me in a good way. Aperol spritz is ????????

Best quality/price ratio in Budapest. Service is not as fast as we expected but the food itself met our expectations. Mostly important: it has a nice kids corner. Don’t forget to book in advance!

Food was delicious, and our waiter was very friendly and his movements while serving were like a dance choreography--professional and flowing. Loved the goat cheese brûlée and beef tenderloin bites.

Chestnut mousse with caramel was delicious. I haven’t tried chestnut before, but in VakVarju they definitely know how to cook chestnuts .

Their portions are huge, I really like the steak and gnocchi . They also have an English menu.

Steak was great. Management need to learn about service. Got asked swap a table after just ordering a drink pre dessert . Then changed mind after we asked them to credit the drink and get us the bill.

Meals as usual very tasty and portions are just right. Only ask for no sugar in lemonade . Tendency as in most of places in Budapest to make it sweet.

Despite what wa written on the tourist magazines (funzine) its not a langos place;.they have Konyves langos, quite digferent than the traditional one. Try langos at bufes near the zoo ;) rest is ok.

I booked a table for a name day celebration. They gave us a table very close to the main door and behind the piano..it was cold and loud at the same time. We went away..didn't try the food.
