Go for the Grand Omakase . Do it. It's so worth it. It can be hard to get a reservation on weekends, but doable during the week. If you can, sit at the bar !
Arguably one of the best omakase in all of SF, this spot in the heart of Chinatown is definitely worth treating yourself to. Make sure to try the Miso soup with truffles , part of the omakase menu . Read more
My favorite sushi joint in SF, even if it means the price of your meal=car payment. Skip lunch , sit at the bar and eat both the omakase menu and the secondary menu.
The best seat in the house is at the bar . The chefs are delightfully polite, engaging, and the food ... unlike any sushi experience you'll get in the entire city .
What’s good here? EVERYTHING! Amazing Omakase experience . Food was literally perfection and our Chef was great! Otoro and A5 Japanese Wagyu were 5*. End with the creme brûlée ! And sit at sushi bar .
Great service and DELICIOUS FOOD! Just get the full course and make sure you get the creme brulee for dessert . It's soooo good!
One of the best omakase meals I've ever had. Amazing sushi . Friendly staff . Sit at the sushi bar for an extra awesome experience.
One of the best new Sushi spots in San Francisco. Founded and run by the former chef from Sushi Ran. Get ready for an experience because he only does omakase here.
It's the best sushi in town ! Excellent fish . Very knowledgeable chef . We sat in front of Shinsuke-san and he's awesome. Made another reservation in 2 weeks. It's THAT good.
Absolutely incredible experience. 100% sit at the bar and get omakase . Each dish is expertly and perfectly prepared.
Probably the best sushi I've ever had. What's more the prices are reasonable considering quality of the offerings and the execution. Definitely come hungry so you can explore the a la carte menu.
The best sushi I’ve had outside of Japan. Omakase is exciting and close to perfect. It’s expensive but in this case, worth every penny.
I'm sure this place already has lots of great reviews, and I agree with them :) the food was great, service was great, seasonal dishes , loved the baby squid sushi :)
Some of the best sushi I have experienced around the world. Amazing kaiseki dinner . Such friendly sushi chefs . Such creative dishes. Do not miss if you are in San Francisco!
Omakase deserves a huge wow. The chef at the bar was extremely creative and accommodating, as opposed to some other sassy ones I've experienced. Amazing wine/sake list as well .
This upscale restaurant serves omakase—The omakase moves from lighter bites to heavier dishes, like a rich slice Toro bluefin fatty tuna belly or A5 Wagyu beef . Read more
Great food and service, try it if you like creative Japanese food . It's on the expensive side but surly a good place for special occasion .
Had the 10 course grand Omakase .. highly recommend u do the bar and engage and see the action .. great dining experience
one of the best tasting menus i’ve been served! huge fan of the cod w matcha pea soup
The best omakase I've had in SF. Expensive but worth it. Make sure you're sitting in front of Chef Kusakabe himself for the best experience.
Chef Shinsuke: the Kaisui Uni is so good it takes him to heaven and he gets to meet his grandparents every time he tries one!
The Yuzu and Shiso-Leaf Sorbet is mysterious looking but this refreshing meal-ender is served with crisp, witch-finger-looking maccha crackers . Read more
Consistently the best omakase in San Francisco. Every bite is impeccably nuanced and balanced. Perfect rice to fish ratio ????????????????
Sadly disappointed by the omakase . Really wanted to love this place since it was highly recommended to me. Food looked better than it tasted (except the first 3 nigiri pieces which was delicious).
very affordable omakase ! great service. make sure to ask for seating at the bar !
The omakase 's come with a lot of sushi , but don't hesitate to get more a la carte.
three different kinds of uni! they were out of the kaisui uni by the time we ate, but the bafun uni is also delicious.
Excellent, authentic sushi and sashimi . Wine/sake pairings are expensive but excellent.
Best omakase and amazing service. We always get extra otoros to finish off the meal
Love it! The friendly environment and the amazing sushi will definitely bring me back.
Great night out! Fantastic dinner , service, and atmosphere! Great for special occasion
love this place!! my new fav sushi place in SF~~~ ;) great service n food.
The best sushi I've had in San Francisco. Warning: after their omakase , you won't want to eat anything else!
Be sure to save some room and some money for a few extra pieces of a la cart nigiri at the end.
Both options for Hokkaido Uni are amazing
Omakase tasting course with choices of Sushi in the end. Definitely worth trying once in your SF life.
This place has the most amazing kelp tea . The wagyu is also super fresh
Omakase is amazing. The lobster tamago is light and fluffy.
Excellent omakase !
Best. Make sure you leave just a lil room for dessert ???? so yum yum
Amazing. Best omakase I've had in SF .
Place not to miss while in San Francisco!
Omakase , authentic Japanese sushi
A bit expensive for omakase , quality and attention to detail.
Whatever they put in front of you will be amazing :)
Amazing omakase experience !
The hokkaido deep ocean uni is really good
Otoro sushi , uni, sake pairings = heaven
