They have like 5-6 dollar burger/cheeseburgers during lunch hours that are actually incredibly good made in the kitchen there , order at the little bar to the left not at the normal register! :P
No pretense and not perfect, but a very impressive selection of beers , especially local. While ambiance = zero, the pricing on sandwiches in their deli makes them well worth considering for a bite.
John's Marketplace isn't interested in outward appearances so much as it is cramming this former convenience store with as many different beers as will fit.
