Mandalay Restaurant

Mandalay restaurant is an awesome place...efficient and courteous waitstaff and scrumptious dim sum and noodles (beef chow fun is yummy!) Taro puff , shrimp dim sum , mochi rice in lotus leaf...go try!!

A decent place to grab some Chinese takeout in downtown Honolulu. The braised pork belly is a winner. Found the noodles , fried rice and some of the other dishes to be lacking in flavor.

After you grind, Today at NOON (Tues., May 24), walk up the street to Office of Elections, 235 S. Beretania, and see the rally for Linda Lingle for US Senate as she files paperwork with sign-wavers!

Try the Dry Fried String Beans - Love it when there's some burnt bits. "Breath of the wok"

Good place for Dim Sum ! Hong Kong style pan fried noodles is delicious--fresh seafood .

Food is good here. Dim sum available during lunch , but they also have set menus if you come in larger groups. Check it out!

Good lunch menu in the heart of the financial district.

Could not accommodate disabled (mom walks w/cane) & said would seat is upstairs at 5pm reservations . But could seat us downstairs at 7pm. Not good!

If you're hungry, go for the set menu "A." It's got all the classics for about $18/person.

Beware that they don't validate parking for lunch . But they do after 5pm at Bishop Square which they failed to tell me. Otherwise $4 a half hour
