Amazing delicious foods and drinks! Good size portions and must try the tournedos de tejas or the cornbread crusted pescado . That are by the best dishes that ive had in a while.
Some of the best TexMex in Austin. Get a rooftop table at sunset and order Ahi Tuna Ceviche (comes with amazing chips ), lobster tacos (full of lobster sweetness), and a 100% Agave Margarita (strong).
Some very tasty food! We got the lobster tacos and pollo flameado. Both dishes came out perfect! Our waitress Audrey, was awesome! She made us feel welcomed, and had fast accurate service!
Perfect rooftop bar to people watch on 6th during SXSW. The queso is a great app to share and the margaritas will keep you cool on a hot day.
Table side guacamole is great. Cocktails are very tasty. Veggie fajitas with black beans and cilantro rice is a great vegan option . Other beans and rice are not vegetarian .
Staff are friendly & portions are good. Fajitas were good too. Go if you're hungry. Great spot on 6th.
Stop in for lunch/dinner and some margs ! House salsa is awesome! Get the queso to go with it! Chicken/Jalepeno poppers are a must! Wide tequilla selection and great menu options!
Even though Iron Cactus is on 6th street it serves rather good food. Guacamole is made freshly at your table.
The best shrimp enchiladas I've ever tasted. The chips and salsa are great with the warm salsa . Fun friendly staff . Clean place and great environment.
Decent Tex-Mex. Loved the fresh guacamole made table side and the margaritas are good. One of the fewer good sized restaurants on 6th and is a chain.
Get The Lobster Tacos . They are amazing! Also their sangria is pretty unique with a touch of cinnamon . ;)
I knew a wrestler by this same name. Sadly, when his special move, “Hug of a Thousand Needles,” proved a little too effective, he was forced to become the markedly less fearsome “Satin Willow.”
Delicious salsa , amazing margaritas and the perfect rooftop deck for a night out in Austin.
This place is wonderful! Free chips and salsa . Have the salmon and fried avacado . Sit on the rooftop .
This Mexican restaurant has a great balcony upstairs, perfect for catching some sun while relaxing and watching 6th Street activity. Guacamole made table side, don't skip it!
Amazing Mexican food . You've got to try the fresh Guacamole ! Liked the lobster tacos , too!
May be a wait for dinner if you go on a weekend, but the amazing margaritas will make the wait feel a whole lot shorter :) Check out what's going on during SXSW here at do512.com
Very good margaritas , nice atmosphere despite the noise, but then again, I was there during SXSW, maybe it's quieter the rest of the year.
With options like Lobster Tacos and Texas Peach Margaritas accompanied by a misted rooftop 6th Street view , what else do you need in life?
Can't go wrong with crab fritter nachos and shrimp enchiladas . Flan is awesome.
Whitefish tacos are perfect for hot temps. thanks to a papaya salsa garnish . The restaurant’s chicken fried steak deserves a mention for its size & tasty salty batter. —WC http://bit.ly/NlI3mX
Delicious margs and tortilla soup . The salsa that comes with the table is spicy and delicious. Mix the queso and salsa .
Strawberry cactus margarita and ahi tuna ceviche . Amazing. Right in the middle of the busiest block on 6th street . This place kicks ass
Baja Fish Tacos were good, but the fish pieces were too big. Make them smaller and put in a couple. Not one big one. House Margarita was excellent. Good chips y salsa .
Service is awesome even tho its busy! Margaritas are amazing and the food was fantastic!
The asparagus is delightful. Shrimp kabobs and ceviche are great too. Go with the sangria . Rooftop deck w/ Latin music
Order the guacamole . A guy comes over with a variety of ingredients and makes the guacamole to your standards the entire time. Excellent and yummy.
Chicken stuffed Avacado for lunch is delicious and probably one of the best burritos I've had in a long time. Eat your Mexican delights on the roof...
If you're into sipping tequila , this is a great place to go. We recommend trying a tequila flight, and if you're feeling adventurous, the pomegranate margarita is to die for.
Second tip: Sit by the window or upstairs looking over 6th! 6th street is so entertaining to watch!
The lobster tacos have a great blend of flavors! Three of them come in the entree so between chips & this it's enough food!
This is the only restaurant I've been to where the gluten free menu is already on the table when you sit down. Kudos!
Warm or Cold salsa ? It’s hard to call it but both are served with chips and both are yummy.
Best damn taco salad I've ever had. And it's worth it to get the extra kick in your drink, go for the tequila floater. Your liver won't hate you too much.
Everything is good, but those nachos with steak ... ????
The guacamole is to die for. You must try it! They make it right before your eyes!
It's not too busy on weekdays. Good place to eat some chips and drink while passing the time.
Happy hour till 7pm includes 1/2 off apps & $3 drink specials (real margaritas w/agave, house cocktails , beers & wine !) John is a fantastic server!
A) put alcohol in your drinks, b) triple sec is not a valid margarita mixer, c) the cerviche is amazing, d) micheladas shouldn't have BBQ sauce in them, e) super sweet deck.
The freshly made guacamole and mojito with extra mint is a complete combination
Pricey , but probably worth it. Grilled fish tacos are good, but with fries ? Tamale pops - yes!
great frozen marguritas and a fantastic guacamole - try it
Great brunch deal but really slow service. Go for bottomless mimosas on Sunday (obviously).
Great margaritas , guacamole , fajitas . Great service too.
Sit out on the upstairs patio and listen to the music from the place across the street
Must try tres leche cake for dessert - big enough to share! Ditto on the good hand smashed guacamole , a great start.
Tableside guac was yummy. The three chile pork was also delicious!
Place has good food and a very central location, but with all the other authentic restaurants in Austin, I would consider other Mexican restaurants first
Try the Absolut Bellini Martini for a peachy twist on a martini or the El Pepino for a spicy kick .
Both house-made salsas are fresh and delicious!
The ginger margarita is amazing and the blood orange margarita is good to boot! - Nigel Sade
The pico de gallo and queso are super amazing! Must try! - Kristen Pulido
Had the Tree Hugger nachos over the weekend... So good! The top shelf margaritas are always refreshing sitting outside on the patio over the lake! - Laura Lachaussee
Honestly the spaghetti squash is a great healthy choice for non-vegans, too. - Katy Thompson
Check out the rooftop. There was great live music while I was there. Plus they have games like skeeball, cornhole and basketball - Barbara Smith
Classic dirty 6. Try the upstairs when it's raining. It's really nice. - Roger Willis
