Pacifica State Beach

Good beach for surfing . If you're a beginner , the south end of the beach offers a chance to learn to surf . The north end of the beach is usually bigger and more surfable on good days.

Close out fast if the tide is too low. Come here when it's mid to high tide, more ridable. Parking 3 bucks for 4 hours. Beginners stay south. Intermediate to advance surf more toward north.

Our favorite family surf spot . Good for beginners up to intermediate . Get in and out before 10 for the best time. Watch out for beach break, though.

Great quick getaway from the city . Sit on the beach and enjoy the sunset .

Check the local weather before making the trip! Pacifica can get pretty foggy even when it's nice in SF.

Great to stop and pee at the Taco Bell on Pacific beach . Go thru double doors and then head outside to the left.

Too funny! I didn't go in but this was the nicest taco bell restaurant I have seen. Funny that I discovered the name of the beach is T.B. beach . Thanks to Four Square!!

A bit of a hike . So be prepared. But the view is definitely worth it.

We went on a Saturday we arrived at 1:00 or so and it was pretty crowded . It was an ok place but I think it would be better on a day a little less packed.

Gorgeous beach , bring a few blankets and spend the day.

Bathrooms are public but have the necessities, near Safeway and shops.
