A great stop on a tour of Atlanta. The house dates back to the late 19th century. There is still a gas lit lamp post in the frontyard!
This was the home of Joel Chandler Harris, author of Uncle Remus stories, from 1881 until 1908. The museum opened in 1913, Harris' room is almost completely untouched to this day aside from cleaning .
The FourSquare deal is no longer honored. Very interesting tour . Our tour guide Sherrie was very knowledgable . Good for kids and grownups.

Really enjoyed myself!
The best way to end a week and start the weekend.
This museum is small but has extremely interesting exhibits, lots of hands-on activities and very knowledgeable curators and staff. Exhibits feature design in all kinds of media. Loved it!! - Amanda Billings
Very interactive, and a must go to for any fan with an hour or two to kill in downtown Atlanta. - Ray Hartjen
Stopped here almost as an afterthought after the aquarium and world of coke. Kids had as much fun here as anywhere else. Will definitely be back. - Ben Jordan
