I can never say anything bad about REI. They offer amazing products and they have a dividend at the end of the year you can use. Really good store.
Staff is friendly . Maybe even too friendly . Spent a long time in there! I didn't realize this is a coop. There are some perks to becoming a member like coupons, annual sales, dividend payout, etc.
Knowledgeable staff who REALLY know what they are talking about. I got some awesome help from Kelly and she set me on the right path for a rain jacket .

They don't offer tent pole repair services anymore but members can get a deal on tent rentals. No charge for pick up and drop off days. Great when you're in a bind with a broken tent pole!
